After ripping Rush Limbaugh yesterday, Morning Joe sports reporter Fred Roggin today announced he would henceforth be keeping his mouth shut on the subject--after getting an earful from his wife.
As we noted, during his Morning Joe sports slot yesterday Roggin took a number of shots at Rush and his quest to purchase an interest in the NFL's St. Louis Rams. Among other barbs, Roggin falsely claimed that Rush had been "canned from ESPN for racist remarks about Eagle's quarterback Donovan McNabb."
A chastened Roggin had this to say this morning . . .

Absolutely.
sorry about the above I found the right channel, but I sure got excited there for a minute
Mark, this can’t be said enough - you do the Lord’s work keeping up with this stuff for us.
Many thanks, abb: it means a lot to hear from my fellow FReepers. And as I like to say, keeping track of the liberal media is my—twisted—pleasure ;-)
Me, too. I abandoned them. They have turned virulently anti-conservative *especially* Scarborough.
Joe went native.
Amen to that. I don't have the stomach for the garbage that he sacrifices himself to watch/listen to!
Thanks, DM: I get by with a little help from my FR friends—and a daily Prilosec!
Thanks Mark. This is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
I’m betting she asked him, “Can you spell couch?” That’s where you’ll be sleeping if you do NOT point out my views on Rush.
Funny as it gets. I could almost see his tail between his legs.
Never underestimate the power of cat...especially its power to turn "conservatives" into go-along-to-get-along moderates (Schwarzenegger) or to bring down politicians and talk show hosts altoghether (Clinton, Edwards, Sanford, Ensign, Letterman, et.al)
