Now, some comments about the photo and the poster. I took the photo at the 9/12 D.C. Rally. I knew what I wanted, a Les-Miserables-type crowd dominated by the Gadsden Flag at the center. I was surprised and pleased that with a one-shot cell phone, I got the photo I'd planned.
The Tea Party movement doesn't have a symbol, and needs one. The Gadsden Flag, the rattlesnake and the slogan "Don't Tread on Me," seems appropriate. And it is so recognizable that it would get our message through to the people despite the MSM fear of covering what we do.
This poster, and the flag it displayed, should start appearing EVERYWHERE where the MSM must point its cameras. The World Series, and the NBC Today Show outdoor audience are obvious targets.
If all this makes sense to my colleagues on FreeRepublic, please get out the word on this poster -- anyone may use and reprint for free, anywhere -- and the flag. Please, however, do pass on the word on ping lists and elsewhere that this photo and poster came from your colleague, Congressman Billybob.

When we were at the Tea Party Express, we met the sweet young man that was beaten by “the other side”, for selling this very flag.
This just a thought, so here goes.
How about a streamer like the military uses, with FRee Republic on the first one. Then as time goes by there could be others added to celebrate different marches or events the flag owner might want to display.

Great photo, BB. I was on the other side of that statue on 9/12 and was thrilled with all the Gadsden flags.
Thanks for flying the flag.
