Not only is Fox News Contributor Marc Lamont Hill an admirer of convicted cop killer and radical Icon Mumia Abu-Jamal, he's also his publisher. AIM's Cliff Kincaid discovered that Abu-Jamal has been promoted on Hill's now-deleted myspace site; but it goes even further. For two years, I read Hill's blog daily. His views are indeed radical. He frequently praised Castro and Khallid Muhammed, along with other criminals and dictators. Here's Abu-Jamal's warm introduction by Hill: "I am thrilled to announce that Mumia Abu-Jamal has joined the Barbershop as a weekly contributor!! His column, 'Live from Death Row', will appear every Wednesday. Mumia is one of the world's most celebrated journalists, freedom fighters, and political prisoners. From the time of his involvement with the Black Panther Party, Mamu has devoted his life to Black Liberation." Hill needs to be held accountable. And who better to do it than the enabler of Hill's commentary, Mr. No Spin Zone himself? Click here to e-mail Bill O'Reilly...

Thanks for that reference. That explains what the other FReeper was referring to. I thought I was beyond being shocked - but I still can be!
O’Reilly has changed for the worst. He at least had passion and during the Clinton years he was on fire, that is what got me watching him. Something happened, maybe that sex thing he got caught at but he has changed.
Terrific post! “Many a truth is said in jest.” - Shakespeare
I didn’t know that! I wonder where she is now? She was good on the fox and friends show, don’t watch it anymore.
That is exactly what I was thinking!!!
I've found that 90% of the time, an EDD is an affirmative sign of incompetence and stupidity. It's uncanny how many fools with EDD's I've met.
Just from looking into Hill’s blank eyes it’s obvious there’s nothing going on in that empty skull.
Those in our society who pin honors on leftist idiots should be laughed at accordingly.
You're welcome.

Muhammad praised Colin Ferguson, a black man who had shot some twenty white and Asian commuters (killing six of them) in a racially motivated 1993 shooting spree aboard a New York commuter train, as a hero who possessed the courage to "just kill every goddamn cracker that he saw." He advised blacks that "there are no good crackers, and if you find one, kill him before he changes."
Muhammad referred to Jews as people whose ancestors were cannibals who "crawled around on all fours in the caves and hills of Europe" and "slept in [their] urination and [their] defecation..."
"If you say you're white, goddammit I'm against you. If you're a Jew, I'm against you. Whatever the hell you want to call yourself, I'm against you."
It's a "Black Liberation" thang:

It could be that FOX is letting the public see for themselves how extreme and ridiculous this guy is. They are supposed to be “balanced” and sometimes I think it’s best to let the American people see and judge for themselves what fools are out there. FOX has to be respectful or these people won’t willingly come on the shows.
I emailed Greg at “Red Eye” and suggested to NOT have Hill on his program again. Why provide visibility to a racist marxist? Would he allow David Dukes to appear on his program and add credibility to Dukes’ racist rants?
From the first time I saw and listened to “Mark Lamont Hill” (”Ph.D.”)(boy , very elegant sounding name, no?), I knew what to expect, and knew what FOX was up to. Ah, the burdens of being “Fair and Balanced”!OR, the necessities of
playing up to some of your host’s intellectual shortcomings with easy targets. I’m talking about you O Reilly and Hannity.
That ANY heretofore first- or second-rate Universities could be staffed by simpletons like Hill just shows you what University Culture has become in America, at least in the “Humanities” and ‘fill-in-the-blank’ Studies programs.
That the ONLY major network where we can get relatively truthful “news and commentary” still finds it necessary to kowtow to these kinds of guest, also shows you how compromised they are willing to become in the name of some
“higher ideal”.
O’Reilly is not the ONLY one who does this: Hannity might be ‘interviewing’ Mark Lamont Hill had O’Reilly not called ‘dibs’ on him long ago. Hannity has his own equivalents to MLH, like 99% of the “Great American Panel”, one of the most pathetic templates ever invented for a television show, in which you can be sure you can see the great spindoctor Bob Beckel, if you haven’t seen him before (unlikely) yet also hear and be exposed to ‘the other (conservative) side, like the simplistic, tongue-tied football player Jason what’s his name, or some country singer, who manages to sound less eloquent on politics than any randomly-selected Tea Party activist.
Increasingly, only the stronger voices now are worth listening to, and these are Rush, Levin, Beck, and even the sports guy Steve Malzberg.
He talks really, really fast, so he must be smart. He talks over people, doesn’t let them get in edgewise. He is nice looking, clean, and articulate. He has a nice smile. He can argue a point without getting angry and/or enraged.
He is a blithering idiot communist.
Given his apparent age, I am quite sure he was named after Lamont.
Hill is a filabustering commie...probably also a truther.
that is some scary stuff!!!
Bill O'Reilly positions himself as a populist, an independent thinker, allied with no particular ideology or political party. Thus, he is superficial and hardly the intellectual heavyweight he likely thinks that he is. He mentions his Harvard Masters degree as often as possible, which gets very old. O'Reilly's condescending concern for 'the folks' is grating and insulting as it clearly self-delineates Bill O'Reilly from 'ordinary' people (those without a TV show). I assume he is mystified and likely feels a bit threatened by the popularity of Glenn Beck.
Fox News separates itself from the pack by, not only hiring right of center analysts and commentators, but by presenting leftists along with the conservative guests. This allows the kind of conflict that supposedly makes for 'good TV', i.e. arguments fueled by passion - on both sides. I believe Bill O'Reilly sees himself as a dispassionate moderator between the two 'extremes' of liberal and conservative ideology. He brags that he is attacked by both sides, which is nominally true, as the posts on this thread demonstrate.
Still, Bill O'Reilly does have far-left guests on his show and sometimes he quietly jettisons them when their radicalism is exposed - by others. I can recall O'Reilly having the honcho that runs Media Matters as a guest some years ago and believing the guy when he said his website was politically neutral, which was a brazen lie. Bill O'Reilly - often attacked by that website, today, long ago dropped Media Matters personnel from his guest list. I suspect that, eventually, when O'Reilly wakes up to the fact that his precious 'doctor' Hill is a rabid leftist, he may drop him, too - but don't hold your breath - and don't expect conservative ideology to be championed by O'Reilly. He's a populist and vehemently denies being a conservative, all the while, 'looking out for us folks;. Gee, thanks, Bill.
I’m always wondering when Shep will just move on over to cnn
Likewise. The doctorate in education is one of the least respected degrees in academia. By the way, the poor quality of degrees in education on the elementary and secondary levels is one of the big problems in our public school system. But powerful unions like the NEA protect this sort of incompetence and prevent the reforms needed. (And the NEA and other teacher unions are a strong part of the Dem base. No surprise there.)
In fact, if he turns his head so you can see his profile and look at his ear - you’ll see daylight coming through the other ear.
