FREAK
I wonder if she can throw a meaner fastball than her husband?
Great quote from the article.
Thanks for posting this. Great read.
Great post thanks.
It has been my experience that Ivy League graduates are far more susceptible to this malady.
That. Was. Beautiful...
I should imagine they tend to ride up and in .... about head-high.
Or as the man said in Field of Dreams, "But watch out for 'in your ear'."
That’s a pitifully low hurdle.
But,but Luvvy my dear; we ARE superior to masses !!
How smart does a beard have to be?
Oh, hell yes! Expect the first one high and tight.
I resemble that remark. ;^>
Great column! Thanks, neverdem.
That’s a good article...
Sort of frightening to have the Windy-City Windbag as the Presdient with the next-in-line Sage of Wilmington. Someone should figure out how to tap these two (and of course Michelle My Belle) as a source of renewable energy.
Perfect article.....nails it!
How hard is it to go before the IOC requesting the privilege of hosting an Olympic Game? Geez, you tell them you’re there to represent your city, and then you sell it. You list the positives, what your city has to offer, what sets your city apart from the competition, and how the Games, the athletes, and the legacy will benefit from your city hosting the games. Hell, I could write a better speech on the back of an envelope while waiting my turn in the hallway.
What a loser.
....and I should add....I could do it without lying.
It has been my experience that Ivy League graduates are far more susceptible to this malady.

Possibly because what they list on a resume as a “broad background” may be in reality a very narrow, limited experience. Because they seem to know everything within their narrow field they may imagine themselves to be superior beings while not realizing that if forced to attempt survival in a very different arena they might be totally overshadowed by someone who has no idea what a Harvard or a Yale is.
Modern day America owes its existence to a large degree to men and women who could walk into a wilderness with only what they could carry and build a community. Those skills and abilities are not taught at Harvard law. Some of those people liked to talk about themselves too but they had to back up their words with deeds, they couldn’t get by on hot air alone.
Great observation!
It’s obvious they have VERY high opinions of themselves
and their own importance, enabled by the affirmative action pampering they received in the U.S. educational system.
What a shock it must have been when the IOC did not agree.
