Not only did the four doctors who flanked President Obama at his White House press event on Monday recommend his plan; three out of four of them donated to his presidential campaign.
It could be an ad slogan to put the toothpaste marketers who like to brag that nine out of ten doctors recommend their brand to shame.
The four doctors who stood and clapped along with Mr. Obama’s plans were Dr. Mona Mangat of St. Petersburg, Florida, Dr. Hershey Garner of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Dr. Richard A. Evans of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, and Dr. Amanda McKinney of Beatrice, Nebraska.
Campaign finance records made available by the Center for Responsive Politics show three of them gave thousands to Mr. Obama’s presidential campaign. Dr. Manget gave $500, Dr. Garner gave $4,415 and Dr. McKinney gave $1750.
No campaign donations were found in the 2008 election cycle for Maine-resident Mr. Evans.
“Accordingly, 3 out of 4 doctors agree, contributing to the President’s campaign gets you a great photo-op!” joked one Republican Hill staffer who wished to remain anonymous

Are these people social researchers, personal psychologists or dermatologists. Perhaps 0bama’s handlers are looking into his eye movements, too, so there is a need for Opthamologists. Oh yes. I forgot dentists.
Which one isn’t from a state university or publicly-funded facility? Are grants on the line or what.

“The leadership at Doctors for America is made up of nearly the same roster of men and women who, in 2008, were the leadership of “Doctors for Obama” in 2008. Common names are Vivek Murthy, MD MBA, Mandy Krauthamer, MD MPH, Nikhil Wagle, MD, Alex Blum, MD, and Jay Bhatt, DO MPH.”
Also, not only did Dr. Nuckols discover that the Center for American Progress funds the group, as indicated in Ben Smith’s article, but also that Dr. Murthy’s bio is posted on CAP’s website.
And that May 4 conference call? Well, here’s what Project Vote had to say: “Center for American Progress Media Conference Call With Senator Max Baucus (D-MT); John Podesta, President And CEO, Center for American Progress Action Fund; Dr. Vivek Murthy, M.D., President and Co-Founder, Doctors for America.”
Yes. There’s more. It seems that Dr. Vivek H. Murthy is a Soros Fellow, 1998-2001, of The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships For New Americans.
So. Here we have it. Doctors for Obama/America, Center for American Progress, John Podesta, Dr. Alice Chen, Dr. Vivek Murthy, and George Soros’ elder brother, Paul Soros.
Wonder where they stood in the class rankings?

I doubt this kind of stuff really influences anyone, since the healthcare thing has been beat pretty much to death.
But they certainly pull out all the stops to try and fake out the populace.
