Graham says that Obama's hinted strategy would be a mistake. Hopes that decision is made soon.

On Afghanistan - the Rep. Senators say trust the general and send the troops. The Dem. Senators want debate and decide the best strategy going forward. Bayh thinks a counter-terrorism strategy in a couple of years might be a possibility. Graham calls that a big mistake.
So much for the bipartisan tone they had with the Iran issue.

Casey is completely sidestepping the issue raised by McCain of McChrystal appearing on 60 Minutes but not before the Senate.
Of course I may be wrong, but wasn't Congress briefed by General Petraeus? I think that was misdirection.
Bayh talks about the relations between 3 presidents and their top generals. Didn’t mention that in each case the general got fired.

Yeah, and Biden wants to just fly drones around the skies of Afghanistan to pick off al Qaeda terrorist leaders. But it's hard to drain the al Qaeda swamp when your troops are getting killed by Taliban alligators.

Bayh sys things would have been worse without the stimulus bill. He says HE would have had it go into effect sooner with a lot more emphasis on jobs.
Now Graham is asked if Gleln Beck is bad for America. Says he did a good job on Acorn, but he chooses not to watch him, and quotes Beck's STUPID comment about the country would have been worse of with McCain than Barack Obama. (On that point, and only that point, I do agree with Graham.) Graham feels that Beck is saying our best days are behind us. (I disagree with that. I think Beck is saying that if people don't get up off their butts and DO something, America will decline.)
