Casey is completely sidestepping the issue raised by McCain of McChrystal appearing on 60 Minutes but not before the Senate.

Casey is waffling about McCrystal briefing Congress. Says McCrystal didn't brief Congress until months after President Bush ok'd the surge.

Of course I may be wrong, but wasn't Congress briefed by General Petraeus? I think that was misdirection.

Yeah, and Biden wants to just fly drones around the skies of Afghanistan to pick off al Qaeda terrorist leaders. But it's hard to drain the al Qaeda swamp when your troops are getting killed by Taliban alligators.
