Also no surprise the CBS would make sure to have only people who are going to say what they want to hear on. Would not do to have anyone critical of Dear Reader to soil their precious air waves with any heretical thoughts.

Well this is a particularly weak lineup.
Last night was interesting on Saturday Night Live, though. Did you see it? Here's a link to their surprisingly critical Obama skit:

And here's a link to the vanity post on FR discussing it ...

I understand the elder Casey was a descent man. I wonder what he would say about what his son has become.

8 dead US military in Afghanistan yesterday, and Barack Obama continues to channel Lyndon Johnson and Robert MacNamara in his management of the war. Can't wait until Charles Rangel is back to promote the idea starting the military draft again. Maybe after he files his tax returns.

Good Morning, All! Well, the Friends reported that Johnny Mac is going to remake the Repub Party so it's more moderate (oh boy!)...even using his own campaign funds to support candidates. Dick Morris chuckled about how well that would work reminding everyone how McCain lost the election with his stimulus stunt. Fr. Jonathan blasted Michael Moore and his commie movie defending the good of capitalism...he was quite animated and actually apologized for getting so excited.

Guess gov. Granholm will be on to brag about Michigan's unemployment. That, and explain how Ford sales are down a whopping 5%, while GM and Chrysler are down ONLY slightly over 40%. The only differences are "bailout" and "possibly still in business 5 years from now", so this must be more evidence that government manipulation of the market works.

Saw a comment on another thread that I thought was funny.
You know how we have these sayings like “meet his Waterloo” “jump the shark” “got thrown under the bus”.
We got a new one this week. For epic failure, you can say “he went to Copenhagen”

I will be watching Evan Bayh (one of my senators) since he has been conspicuously absent over the last couple of months.
He has a reputation as a moderate, but what he really is is a bellweather of his re-election chances.
I will watch and see what he has to say. It might provide some interesting tea leaf reading.

Morning AB,all I hear it has actually cooled down on the mainland in most areas must be nice!
Hurricanes won last night finally two teams we can be proud of in Fla. Gators/Canes.
Yet another very weak lineup which is to be expected as we review yet again what the opposition viewpoints will be from the DBM,talking points and all.
I wonder if any of the Drivebys will recall that zeros trip was for a naught and that Chicago was thrown under the bus and quickly.Nawwwwww!!!
\C-Spam reached a new low today by allowing a rep. from al Jazerra to be on the program. Terrorist apologist. It was very revealing just how slick these terror types can be. But overall it was just another new low for Brian and the driveby gang over at C-Spam,IMHO.

Morning news from Afghanistan:
Militant fighters streaming from a village and a mosque attacked a pair of remote outposts ..., killing eight American soldiers and as many as seven Afghan forces in one of the fiercest gunbattles of the troubled eight-year war.
In all probability, due to the ROE, that mosques still stands and still provides support and sanctuary to
militant fighters.
