You can hide a lot of stuff in that gibberish, like a total takeover of the U.S. economy.

It won’t stop them from voting on it though.

Yep, at most all Congress does anymore is create vague “frameworks” and turn responsibility over to the executive branch to “interpret and implement.” In my opinion, legislation should be concise, clear and understandable to all— otherwise it’s just garbage. Oftentimes, people that violate these “laws” don’t even know they are doing it. Time to kick all lawyers out of Congress....

Olson Johnson: [after Gabby Johnson's speech] Now who can argue with that? I think we're all indebt to Gabby Johnson for stating what needed to be said. I am particulary glad that these lovely children are here today to hear that speech. Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish, it expressed the courage little seen in this day and age.

An open letter to Senator Thomas Carper:
Please read or reread the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution through its first ten Amendments. Then look at the “legislative language” form of the health care “reform” bill. (No need to read it, just look at it.) Then either clean up our congress or get out of it before “We the people” vote most of you into deep dark places.
Name and address yours upon request.

I wonder if he’s one of the many congressmen I heard last December say “I thought TARP was supposed to buy troubled assets, not bail out auto companies.”

"...they are like monkeys poking buttons in a nuclear power plant." Did you really need to scare me that bad? I mean people are jumping out of windows in France at the world situation. Some of us can't handle that level of fright. Who is in control of this madhouse? 500 people are ignoring the citizens and just doing whatever they wish. God help us. :(

I called his Wilmington office today. They deny he ever said that. I told them I was watching it on CNSNews. They still said he never said it.
Now we know for sure (as if there was any doubt before)that Congress’s cumulative IQ = their approval rating. My question to this dolt is, if it is so “arcane”, then WHY THE H$!! DO YOU WRITE IT THAT WAY!

He likened it to the "gibberish" used in credit card disclosure forms. Kind of funny coming from the Senator from MasterCard...

Ok, so what he is saying is he can't understand what the frickin' bill says but he is going to vote for it anyway? I would think that anyone with integrity would say, "Hey, I'm not signing something I can't understand.
Instead he is saying, like a used car salesman, go ahead, sign it, don't worry about understanding the language in the contract. What an a**hat, as are all dimwit politicians.

They’re into concepts. Like the new concept of jobs “created or saved”. A novel concept there.
