Obama blows.
Well, that's a good thing they lost their bid. I was having visions of Chi-town headlines in 2016: Elderly Scot (or other) Olympics Tourist Beaten to Death by Chicago Teen Gang as CNN News Crew Keeps Cameras Rolling.
Upon hearing the news that their plea for the Olympics in Chicago fell on deaf ears, BO, MO, and Oprah/Orca scream RACISM!

I have said from the very beginning that it will be Rio. What most Americans may not know is that Brazil is one of the most loved sporting nations in the world. Its football (soccer) fans are legendary in terms of their joy and enthusiasm. Pele was in Copenhagen lobbying for Brazil. He is much more effective than an Obama would ever be.
Rio has set up huge screens on Copacabana Beach. They expect hundreds of thousands to show up and watch the announcement. What a celebration it will be if they get it. Go Rio.
