I would do anything but sell my soul to be on that plane on the ride home. Can you imagine what those two will say? Michelle: "What would Marie Antoinette do?"
Barack: "What would Nero do?"

When dear leader goes around the world telling everyone how terrible our country is, why would the delegates want to vote for us? People here voted for change and that is what we get. Change from prosperity to failure.

As well as it was reported last night that the taxpayers were going to flip the bill in the end so the chicago mob and 0bama cronies could get richer.

I cannot express how pleased I am at this, especially given that Fox saw it as a significant-enough issue to interrupt Glenn Beck during his 3 AM rebroadcast to tell us all about Obama's arrival in Copenhagen.

Have you seen the south side of Chicago? It is a crime-ridden urban wasteland.
This whole thing was a joke.

For those that follow polls, today’s voting is just another poll, not with adults, or likely voters... just the Olympic committe, but a harbinger for what to expect for -10bama and his minions in congress and elsewhere in 11/2010 and 11/2012.

I have been to Chicago twice and have a fairly good impression of the city. I know that one of the unintentional and harsh crimes of bureaucracy in such matters as Olympic preparation is the clearance of a neighborhood. This was done in Montreal without mercy. Apparently nobody cared-'cept the people who were displaced.
Perhaps Chicago would have done it differently, but I would not want to bet on it. I await the carnage in my native city- London Town. This is the only reason on the bright side of Chicago rejection. I think some poor powerless people might continue with their lives.
As to the failure of the President and his first lady, my contempt is for the Europeans. When(to their knowledge) the juggernaut was that of Senator Obama in his quest for the Presidency, they shilled and oohed and went overboard for him. Yet is was America that will have to stand - or fall on his Presidency. What a delightful sport for the Europeans and their distaste for George W. Bush. Here is the bottom line.
When the acceptance or rejection of President Obama, meant a direct and distinct effect on a massive project, the Europeans threw him under the bus.

Damn, and he’d been hoping to “see the Olympics from his back porch.”
