I agree with Rush, this is a total disaster for the Bamster. It is difficult to believe that he would subject himself to this risk of failure, very poor judgment.

In the end their mistake was making this about Bam instead of about the Olympics. The reason Chicago lost was BECAUSE of Bam, they did not want this to turn into the Bam Olympics and have him and Michelle on TV as the heros of getting the games to Chicago. If he would have kept a low profile and lobbied/bribed behind the scenes, they might have pulled it off.

Why would they want the games in Chicago if it meant that it was about Bam and not about the games? Very rational an the part of the IOC, they saw thru his game.

David Axelrod began his career as a journalist, and before long he was the Chicago Tribune’s political editor and columnist, the youngest person in the paper’s history to hold those positions.

Take senior White House adviser and Obama campaign guru David Axelrod. He’s been a Daley loyalist since 1989, when he signed up as a political consultant for the mayor’s first run.

Axelrod’s public relations firm, Chicago-based AKPD Message and Media, has pitched in work for the Chicago 2016 committee.

Bad intel ...

Well said. Makes sense, Europe's played that "Ego" game once too many times before.
