Bush was disappointing in many ways but I never doubted his personal courage.

You might run into some resistance to this view of yours around here....

You might not like everything he did, but Bush is not lacking in personal courage. Nor did he ever pull his punches when it came to defending his country. What he does have is a sense of decency and decorum, and knowledge of the precedent that former president’s don’t interfere with the policies of sitting presidents, which The Idiot Carter has never observe or respected. And, for the record, there is no love lost between Bush and McCain.
