Oh yeah, "Keith said he will probably vote for McCain because Palin is his running mate."

I see the point you are trying to make but the tone of that particular video isn’t aimed at the current ideology ofthe country, but at the people directly.
I give TK all the props in the world for supporting our troops

Glad you could see my point, thanks. Not so many are as open-minded. Yes the video is aimed at some people directly - I thought the bit with Al Gore was pretty funny as well as the part where Obama is carried in on other people’s shoulders. But what of it? We the people elected Obama and in general we should be able to laugh at ourselves a little bit for this lunacy. Many of Toby Keith’s videos are pure comedy. I won’t say this is his best but I did get a few laughs from it and I’m not ready to put the guy on MY enemies list for this one video.

Apparently, our boy Toby was for Obama before he was against him.
The huffpo piece is from August 2008, the cmt piece from October 2008.
Can I tell you again that I have no dog in this race. I don’t know what Toby’s position is, and don’t really care.
PhiKapMom wrote on this thread (posts 14 and 20) that Toby had endorsed Obama. I googled and found something to support that. Unless or until Toby sits down and drinks a beer with all of us, and tells us what he really thinks, we are left with these conflicting pieces of information.
I have been properly chastised for passing along under documented information. Mea Culpa.
That whole case was actually misleading. That coffee was illegal to serve it was so hot. They had about four inspectors warn them about the temperature of the served liquid (boiling is too hot to serve as a drink) and they did nothing.
In THIS case (and believe me, I have seen way too many ridiculous lawsuits for people’s stupidity), but the judgement was a punishment more than making the person rich.
Judgements are for two reasons, compensation and punishment. This was a case of both, but more punishment for being negligent.
And other restaurants that don’t care to pay attention might look a little closer at what they do if they see the potential of a million dollar lawsuit.
Good heavens No one suggested to put him on an enemies list. MY point was that this vid is not what some think it is. I think it is a funny vid.
But Toby spit on his hard core supporters and they don’t appear to even know it
The point to remember is that TK said something blandly nice about 0 (and McCain & Sarah too apparently in August) and it was made into a full-blown endorsement for 0 by the national propagandists.
The cool thing is that Toby caught on to 0 & the Dem media a whole lot faster than 'conservative' Republican pundits like Michael Smerconish & David Brooks & David Frum & even Peggy Noonan, who did wind up endorsing McCain.
Anyway, don't trust the SRM.
