Forty-eight days before the release and she’s already topped Dan Brown’s latest conspiracy-theory casserole at both top retailers. To put that in perspective, note that the book doesn’t even have a cover yet. So much for the Page Six hit piece about demand for her being slack.
No way to tell yet, obviously, whether the monster launch will have legs or whether it’ll deflate a bit next week after Palinistas are all done ordering their advance copies. But if it goes on to become a mega-seller, it’s a game-changer insofar as it’ll establish her unquestionably as the most prominent Republican in America, which leaves Huck and Mitt in an awkward spot before the primaries and presents the media with an interesting choice.
Do they try to spin the sales as unrepresentative of her support among Republicans given that plenty of liberals are bound to buy the book for campaign dish and insight into the Palin “trainwreck”? Or do they follow lefty conventional wisdom that Palin would be the easiest person to beat in 2012 and talk up her appeal to Republicans to try to nudge her into a presidential run? (Righty conventional wisdom, of course, is that she’s the candidate the left most fears, but given their expectation of future Couric-type disasters during a campaign, I’m skeptical that that’s true.) Only one thing’s certain: If she hasn’t already been signed to write a second book, she will be soon. “Common Sense Conservatism” by Sarah Palin, perchance?

How can somebody like her look so beautiful? Wow!
The problem is that conservatives get shunned by the “ratings” reviewers who are almost to a person liberal. No reviews or awards means a book or documentary isn’t valuable.
Our library has four copies of Michael Moore’s latest “documentary”, but they’ve ignored repeated requests to get Mine Your Own Business - citing it as limited interest and without any kudos.

Sarah Palin is an inspirational person. And there are solid reasons for that.
She knows and loves America and Americanism and the American people. She comes from that. There was another person in politics in the not too distant past who had that knowledge. He was also loved by the people and hated by the elitists.
What a courageous woman. May she succeed in everything she tries.
Robin, keep in mind that Michelle will also be out with her new tome, “ Black Organic Gardening” which I’m sure will be well received by communists, union thugs, race-pimps, third-world dictators, perverts, ELF, and the mentally institutionalized!

Clever Freepers: Some one should make a counter that displays Sarah book sales vs. Hildabeast, Princess Pelosi, Harry Reid, et al. Would be a sweet screen saver.
Any book has a team of collaborators and fact checkers.
It will be well written and insightful, but not at all indicative of her mental acuity or accomplishments.
It will relect her values and general philosophy.
The liberals will pooh pooh it as ghost written and the conservatives will rah rah it as the holy grail.
The truth will be somewhere in between.

Interesting.
I just visited Amazon to look into this. When I did a search of Amazon for “Sarah Palin” or “Sarah Palin book,” I came up with a number of recent books about her, but was NOT guided to Rogue.
I had to go over to the left and choose from “forthcoming” items before I located it. Or you could search it by the title. But using her name doesn’t really turn it up easily.
So, they aren’t exactly pushing it, as you might expect. Which makes it all the more remarkable that it’s doing so well.
The magenta-haired leftard hourly drones at several large bookstore chains are going to have a hard time hiding their inventory for this one, lol.
And when “The Long Legged Mack Daddy the Zebra” heard this he threw himself on the floor, rolled around kicking and crying and screaming that it’s no fair “I am the chosen one” I have to be the center of all attention.
