Since when is New Haven a crime riddled city? I thought it was supposed to be a nice place. When did it change?

You may recall this is where the mayor allowed the Mexican flag to fly in place of the US flag.

"New Heinous" hasn't been livable since the early 1960s. It is, for the most part, a crime ridden hellhole of Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings, etc. It basically lost its industry (aside from Yale and some hospitals) after WWII and never recovered.
Come to think of it, ALL urban areas in Connecticut are sh-tholes. It is similar to NJ in both its high median income, high levels of education, and the scariness of its urban centers.

It is the Yale campus surrounded by a ghetto. Dems ran it into the ground. Outrageous taxes, crime, shootings...
But at least they have Yale, otherwise it would be another Bridgeport.
