Thanks for the link. I finally had a chance to see what got everyone so upset. It's very interesting on several levels, but more interesting is the reaction of posters, many of whom are saying a military coup is what Perry is advocating. That's not what I read.
What Perry is saying is There is a remote, although gaining, possibility Americas military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the Obama problem.
He then merely lays out why it is a possibility and NOT that he is advocating that it happen. And the "it" he sees as a possibility is:
Will the day come when patriotic general and flag officers sit down with the president, or with those who control him, and work out the national equivalent of a family intervention, with some form of limited, shared responsibility?
And for that, NewsMax pulls it???
Apparently, simply suggesting that there is a remote danger of a military coup due to obama's agenda and mishandling the military is the same thing as saying he wants the military to takeover. Sorta like criticizing obama's policies is due to racism.

Most revolutions start in a country’s military.

Damn, there goes that troublesome FIRST AMENDMENT! Why worry about the 1st Amendment when you're perfectly willing to trash the rest of the Constitution through a military coup?

Non-conservative nice to see you back trolling the boards.

And we in fact are having a coup at this present time via the BC and non-citizen status of your idiol. So why on earth would you give a crap about the constitution? The left doesn’t like it unless it serves their purposes.

The left doesnt like it unless it serves their purposes. And if your solution is to destroy the very Constitution you accuse Obama of trampling on then where are you any different?

Non it isn’t a coup to use the military to stop a coup! We call that defense in my neck of the woods.

We wouldn’t be destroying the constitution if we used the military to uphold the constitution and stop the current coup that is taking place.

Pure tripe.
The officer corps will resign before they turn against the CIC.
(Hey - maybe this is what zippy wants, a purge of the officer corps so he can get his own peeps in. Kinda like Stalin.)

It’s not an elected government if it was elected via fraud concerning his BC and him not being NBC.
I call that TREASON.
