....Silvonus Shannon, 19; Eric Carson, 16; Eugene Riley, 18; and Eugene Bailey, 18, allegedly kicked and punched Derrion, an innocent bystander in a fight between two groups of students near the South Side school Thursday afternoon, according to Cook County prosecutors...
The assault, which was captured on videotape, was not gang-related but arose from a disagreement between students who live in Altgeld Gardens and another group who live in an area known as the "Ville," according to Assistant Cook County State's Attorney Jodi Peterson...

If only Acorn hadn’t been cut off at the knees by those nasty conservatives, this whole incident could have been avoided through their youth outreach programs (sorry, just getting a head of the spin).
Cosby seems manic depressive to me
Here's a link to the story. He really is a low-life.
I’m proud to say that I’ve made it through 43 years of life without punching and kicking anyone to death.

Could be, considering what the man’s been through.
Community crimes must not be an issue in their decision. If it were, no way Atlanta would have made the cut.
Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm,
Barrack Hussein Obama

“Community crimes must not be an issue in their decision. If it were, no way Atlanta would have made the cut. “
I will say, that for about three weeks, Atlanta was a dream city, with people in a cheery mood, virtually no local crime, and traffic at early 1950’s levels. Too bad it couldn’t say that way...
Yep, O’bozo’s old community organizing on the southside of Chicago. They’re such happy campers there they kill each other off at the rate of 32 a month.
Just what we all want in organized little communities in our town that can hold sway over our government entities by gangland tactics.
Well, no guns were used. See? Progress! (and, I don’t mean to belittle the horror of this crime).
Well...uhhh...maybe not...looking at the Chicago Fox website, it looks like the usual Afganistan-level of shootings this weekend. Apparently, SOME few “bad apples” haven’t heard that it’s illegal to have a gun there...
What experience of his are we supposed to pity?
If you mean his son’s murder, this behavior isn’t new. Bill has gone unprovoked on embarrassing rants before.
The place was shoddily built with foundation and gov. funds, and was not maintained. A huge number of units were empty and falling down. It was a horrible slum, this "affordable housing" although less than 10 years old. Valerie Jarrett handled the building and management if I am not mistaken. The old media ignored the story, which was of a typical Chicago thuggery scam built on grand promises to take care of the needy, and millions pocketed by the leaders.
It was worthy of Zimbabwe.

You have.
"..Loretta Augustine-Herron, who worked closely with Obama at Altgeld Gardens, said she could see his future being shaped by his work at Altgeld. "I always knew he was going to be president," she said. It was here, she said, that Obama learned firsthand how "you must be one of the power brokers if you want to effect change."
For all its impact on Obama, Altgeld Gardens today seems far from the kind of success story politicians like to tout.
Dozens of buildings are boarded up, with fences surrounding much of the property. The roads are a potholed mess. Blinking lights illuminate a series of towers where police have mounted cameras..."
Obama is through slumming. He used the ghetto and left.
This community does not look well organized.
I guess these are the results Ayers and 0bama achieved by spending $100 million to improve Chicago public schools.
If found guilty in a court of law, death by 2x4 sounds more appropriate..
Chicago or Soweto?
