U.S. blasts ousted Honduran for "foolish" return

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States blasted ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya for his "irresponsible and foolish" return from exile before a settlement was reached in the Central American country's political crisis.

At an emergency meeting of the Organization of American States to discuss the Honduran face-off, Lewis Anselem, the U.S. ambassador to the OAS, also criticized Honduras' de facto government for its "deplorable" action in barring entry of an OAS mission and declaring a state of siege on Sunday.

Anselem also criticized Zelaya for fueling violence by slipping back into Honduras last week and holing up in the Brazilian Embassy, from where he has called on his supporters to take to the streets.

"The return of Zelaya absent an agreement is irresponsible and foolish ... He should cease and desist from making wild allegations and from acting as though he were starring in an old movie," Anselm said.

Storm the embassy. Burn it down. Drag Zelaya to the nearest pit and execute him.

Let's see, what Honduras does in accordance with its own Constitution has next to zero impact on the United States or our interests yet we continue to meddle in Honduran affairs, cut-off aid and make a big deal about restoring this anti-democrat Chavez-wanna-be, Zelaya.

In the meantime, Marxist Chavez cozies up with bad-actors like Iran and Libya, threatens intervention in Honduras and continues to suppress democracy and press freedom in Venezuala, our Dear Leader can find nary a word of criticism of Hugo to pass from his lips.

The United States blasted ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya for his "irresponsible and foolish" return>>>>>>>>>>>>

The word is that he got into Honduras via the US Air Base there, without going through imigration or customs.

I guess for some reason the government of the USA has decided to let him hang.Deals have been made, stabbing in the backs have occurred.

Why did the USA help him in there in the first place?

Talk about a 180 degree shift. Another flip flop. Obama seems plagued with flip flops.

Hehas no business there, and stands to die. Is that why the USA is bailing out of this no win situation?

Ludicrous.

Same ol' wishy washy sh!t with the missile defense program that Obama is screwing up via lack of basic human intelligence as a leader augmented by a pi$$ed off attitude toward the American way.

The truth is, the settlement has been reached -- it was handed down by Honduras' supreme court.

Forthcoming will be an apology to Zelaya, followed by beers in the WH. Fixes any “stupid” thing.
