I’d apply for the job but I have a normal shaped head.
Lawrence Harvey Zeiger has had an interesting life.
Following graduation from high school, Zeigler spent the bulk of his career bouncing around in a string of medial jobs in second tier radio stations. For example, he was the color commentator for broadcasts of the Shreveport Steamer of the World Football League.
Zeigler has been married eight times, to seven women. His latest is a Mormon girl 24 years younger than him.
In a May 2009 interview with Anderson Cooper, Zeigler revealed that he was raised in a Jewish home but now is an agnostic. In July 2009, Zeigler appeared on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien where he told Conan about his wishes to be cryonically preserved upon death.
I hope he never retires. He regularly says something so stupid it’s LMAO funny. One time he asked a person what it was like while they were comatose for several years.
Every time I see Larry King I wonder if he is holding up his suspenders or if the suspenders are holding up Larry King.
A no talent hack who became one of the luckiest people ever to inhabit the planet.
Despite being a total lefty and at times seeming to have no grasp of simple logic, Larry King had one thing going for him: fairness.
Larry King always treats his guests with respect, and gives them time to state their position. He never tries to undercut them with gotcha questions. Hard hitting journalist he is not. But if you want to go on the air and get your message out without having to worry about some biased journalist getting in you way because they think they are intellectually/morally superior, King was the show.
King treats people from every aspect of the political spectrum the same.
This is probably why CNN is having a hard time finding a replacement.
They’d better pay him what he asks. He’s their top guy.
What’s the internet? You press buttons or something? </ Larry King>
They’ll probably replace Larry with Bill Moyer or Bill Press.
How hard can it be to find someone as stupid as Larry King? Hollywood is full of them.
Ryan Seacrest!!!????
I can see his first interview . . . . . with Madonna . . . . . . (Ryan) “so, maddie, tell me about the traffic cone brassiere . . . . . “
King is already rolling over in his grave over this . . wait until he’s DEAD!!!
Good old Larry. I remember his dead-boring radio show being simulcast on late-night cable and watching Larry eat a banana while taking a call, oblivious to the camera apparently.
We all remember Larrys USA Today column which was actually enjoyable despite its occasional repetition and all those ellipses (...). We all are ADD-addled web surfers now but his column was catnip in the pre-Internet days.
Of course, Larry took a strange sort of pride in being utterly and intentionally unprepared. He claimed it made his questions spontaneous but too often he couldnt move beyond the obvious.
Last but not least was Larrys media-bubble view of politics and ideology in which, as always, Dems were the good guys looking out for the werkin man and Republicans were an alien species intent on enslaving mankind.
