According to billboard owner Phil Wolf, Denver’s “birther boards” will go up mid-day today at Kipling and I-70 on the north side of frontage road. West-Denver commuters will be treated to compelling over-sized double-sided evidence that Americans love a distraction.
The ominous and compelling message: “Where is the birth certificate?”
The billboards are the work of talk radio host Peter Boyles, World Net Daily, and Mr. Wolf. They are part of nationwide right-wing campaign to force Pres. Obama to produce his original long-form birth certificate.
Experts have repeated time and again that the documents presented to the country and campaign officials are real and legitimate documents and that a “long-form certificate” does not exist.

WTF? Is this direct proof that we are getting somewhere in Hawaii? WTF? Hold onto your hats, your children, your passports... I think we are leaving Kansas for real Toto. I don't recall anyone ever admitting that Obama didn't have a long form BC. Something tells me the TerriK investigation is to blame for this new mantra which appears to have been dropped as a trial balloon on Sept 24. Get to work on the Colorado Independent. Nobody has "admitted" that - but CNN has already floated this trial balloon back in July. I think it was when Lou Dobbs was picking at this issue and his bosses wanted him to drop the subject.
Pretty lame, actually. Jon Klein backed off from that speculation pretty quickly, IIRC.
The first scanned image WAS NOT scanned. It was a computer generated fraud.
There are no, I repeat no, artifacts that typically occur with a scanned image.
No border shadows or bleeds, no creases, incorrect cropping to create a square document, when an original is clearly not square but, in fact, offset and rectangular.
The images are at variance with each other and not consistent with other documents we already have
Years ago I ordered a certified copy of my long form.
It came back and what it was/is is a printout on photo-sensitive paper of a copy of my original BC from microfiche.
It had the original info about where I was born, info about my parents, the doctors signature, the hospital registrars signature. As well as initials of someone from the Dept of Vital Stats from NYS, and the State seal impressed.
So there may be no “paper” form, per se. But odds are very high that somewhere, there is an image file of sorts.
A single reel of microfiche could hold thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of images.

OK. I imagine NYS has similar statutes.
And I fubar’d of sorts, because I used to read microfiche from IBM with the viewers, and in fact it does not come on reels (maybe some forms do) but the stuff I dealt with was like 4X6 inch transparencies that resembled photo negatives.

I am sure that is what Hawaii used up to 1981. But according to Okubo, all records were transferred to electronic format in 1981. So if they destroyed the microfiche copies, they had to be converted - intact - to an electronic form per Hawaii statutes.
I read the OIP op. ltr. no 90-23 on the above site and I noticed that according to statute 338-18 (D) that ALL indexind data related to a birth certificate MUST be revealed to ANYONE requesting it WITHOUT to the ‘standing’ erquired by statute 338-18 (B) which the dept of health is using to shield that data.
I suspect that therefore one can legally request any and all indexing data related to the BC under Hawaii law and it has to be released.
Exactly what that ‘indexing’ data is and what it may reveal may prove interesting. If it shows date and time of material created or submitted, it may give an actual birth date or a date filed or date modified and possibly who may modified the data. Perhaps it may indicate a ‘late filing’ or filing of a birth overseas.
This may be another path to persue by those able to do so.

Plural? I've only seen several images of what purports to the same document, that is the Certification of Live Birth, issued in June of 2007. Is there more?

Which experts? Even the spokesperson for the Hawaii Department of Health has not verified that the image of the supposed 2007 COLB is legitimate, only that it "looks like one of ours". (ANd that's all she could say, because to verify the information would be a violation of the law

Really? I think is a badly morphed (or carefully morphed, YMMV) version of "we no longer issue certified copies of the original or "long form" certificate", which was not true until around June of this year, when after WND, many FReepers, and others showed that the Hawaiian Lands Program's website not only said that they really needed the "long form", but told the reader how to obtain one. Then mysteriously, that changed, and they decided they'd take the short form with "supporting documentation" (so they could verify that the parents, grandparents, greats and beyond were native Hawaiians, or at least enough of them were to qaulify the individual for the program.)
Well it is something of a contridiction if the people you show your COLB to cannot verify that the information on it has not been changed. The form itself says that alterations invalidate it. How is someone to know if a document has been altered, especially these days, if they cannot go back to the issuing authority and get it verified. You would not need to know what the true information was, just that something did not agree with what is on the certification. Something like:
Joe Toe Smoe, who I'm planning on hiring for a job that requires one to be at least 21 years old, (bartender maybe or worse a gun shop sales clerk???) showed me what appears to be a COLB issued May 08, 2008, showing he was born June 29th, 1988, but that part is a little smudged, is that date correct?
That’s what I was thinking. I believe it’s highly unlikely Obama doesn’t have a long form. He was not born in a time birth certificates and hospitals were not the norm unless he was born in a hut or tent in Kenya.

You’re assuming that he actually found a BC in a book. That was very likely a manufactured story, as is much of what we know about 0.
The one thing that bothers me to this day is this:
After the Lucas Smith Birth Cert. was publicized, there is not one single comment I can find from anybody regarding the Footprint and how it can disprove the birthers.
I have heard people say that all we have to do is match up Obama’s footprint and we have our evidence.
But, I have not heard anybody from the Obama camp state that it is not his footprint!!! Because it just might be.
This lack of discussion regarding the footprint leads me to believe it might actually be authentic.
What do others think?
