Worst trouble with ACORN is at the polls (Al Franken ACORN fraud?)
Minneapolis Star-Tribune ^ | September 26, 2009 | Katherine Kersten

ACORN was once the darling of Democrats for its support of every item on the left-wing wish list. Suddenly, its employees can hardly find a Democrat who will answer their phone calls.

But ACORN does have a special place in its heart for at least one prominent Minnesota politician. Last year, it showered praise on Al Franken, endorsing his run for the U.S. Senate. Franken returned the esteem: "I'm thrilled and honored to receive this endorsement," he gushed in a press release. He added that he was "more motivated than ever to work with ACORN."

I'm not suggesting that Franken had any association with the folks behind ACORN's recent scandal. Indeed, when the Senate voted to defund ACORN, he got religion and joined the pack.

It's worth recalling, however, that ACORN is best-known for its massive voter-registration campaigns, which focus relentlessly on getting Democrats elected in targeted states. Here its record is appalling -- and goes to the heart of our democratic electoral system.

There is a reason Jason Lewis and the rest of the screaming idiot choir can only be found on the fridges of Talk Radio.

Their dogmatic theory's of the politics of ideological purity can only work in places where no one actually has to do any real work. In the real world such 100%erism had helped causer the Marxist to be controlling both houses of the MN State House, both houses of the US Congress, the US Presidency and in 2010 the Governorship of the state of Minnesota.

So you, Jason and rest of the Ideological purity choir wander off and cheer yourselves on for your, and his, dogmatic purity while the rest of us do the heavy lifting you whiners choir are too lazy, or too stupid, to do.

But before you go, at least have the intellectual courage to realize ALL you, and he, and the rest of the Minnesota whiners caucus are doing in reality is acting as the most effective campaigners the DFL has.

Why is it when people want to get elected they move to the right? Pawlenty is sprinting to the right pretending to have principles. Coleman was elected because someone died. A true believer died Republicans should elect true believers rather than people pleasers for expediency. There is no shame in wanting someone to stand for something and do what they say. The reason Repubs messed up is because they said they were one thing and governed like they were something else. They lost the trust of the American folks. You rebuild that trust by actions and not words.

I am sorry but the invincible shield of rabid political ignorance you and your ilk wrap yourself in makes you a complete irrelevancy to any serious political discourse.

Are you seriously telling me that because Norm Coleman once in a while voted as a moderate instead of 100% conservative it was “right” to elect Franken?

You are actually admitting your part in getting this filibuster-proof Senate elected?

You are admitting that you and others with this attitude have put this country in MAJOR JEOPARDY of being under an eternal sentence of socialist health care! You are admitting that you put this country in MAJOR JEOPARDY of destroying the economy with CapNTax! You are admitting that you have increased the likelihood of radical leftists on the USSC! You admit your part in giving this CommuFascist administration virtually unchallenged power to weaken the national defense of the United States in so many ways from missile defense to the dollar!

I agree with people who say that (radical) liberalism is a mental disorder. The same is true of people who think as you have expressed here. I hope someday you grow up and learn to weigh pros and cons more carefully.

Unfortunately, for the US it now may well be too late.

I am admitting only that I want people to stand on principle and do what they say they are going to do. Bush toke 5 years to ever say “NO” and veto a bill. Repubs suffered for that and lost the majority and they deserved to. When you stand for something and tell the voters this is what I believe and this is what I will do Repubs have won in landslides. Dems are true believers and they do not compromise. Bipartisan means to them Repubs compromise your principles. It was a shame that we lost the majority but we had it coming we lost the trust of the center right nation. When trust is lost in a relationship all hell breaks loose as it did. So getting back trust takes time might take a couple cycles. However Obama is making it easy and the folks are rejecting his agenda thanks to Tea Party folks that are and will be out in force. They do not trust Obama, and will trust folks that stand for something and do what they say. This is a great opportunity for the Repubs to regain that trust. All the Repubs are running back to their right and dare I say their Reagan roots or Goldwater even.

That would be sweet to prove that it was false ACORN votes that got Frankken scooted into Congress.

Marxist are now in power and layered throughout our government - there are ways to wake people up....but there are ways to not hand over the ultimate power to a Narcissistic POS. So don’t be patting yourself on the back. MN has been known for it’s progressive politics since the turn of the 19th century into the 20th century.

Tremendous opportunities for conservative folks now though if they can regain the trust of the American folks. Obama has trashed his trust so it will have to go somewhere. There will be many millions on the Capitol lawn all next year screaming to be heard. Awesome and exciting it will be and they will not be ignored anymore. Obama has energized conservative folks like no one else could we will see if our representative are listening and get rid of those that are not listening.

“Franken could not have won without ACORN voter fraud. Wake up Minnesota! “

It’s ALL our fault for allowing phony votes to count, and not being RIGHT THERE IN THEIR FACE COUNTING AND VERIFYING!

You’re right and that is what had to be done in Florida when the Demnuts tried to steal the presidential election in Florida.

It was only the threat of physical violence in Florida that stopped the left wing cowards from going upstairs to “count” the ballots.
