I was six miles away and felt the blast as if I was hit by a linebacker.
Wow, that's incredible. Were you outside? I'm curious about the actual physical experience six miles out. What must you have thought the instant it happened?

I was actually inside my house. But I sonic booms from aircraft feel similar depending how close you are.
Upon reflection, the linebacker analogy was an exageration. A shockwave from a close sonic boom would be better. But the differece was that a shockwave seems to go BOoooommm, this felt like BOOM then silence.
I just remember saying “WHAT THE F^<K WAS THAT!” Then I rmembered that my mother was visiting.

I was indoors in bed after a surgery, about 8 miles away (in Moore) It rattled my windows.
