The numbers are in for President Obama’s carpet-bombing of the Sunday TV talk shows.
Obama drew fewer viewers than the shows normally draw
His numbers (with last season’s averages in parenthesis):

Good. Sunday shows are Democratic propoganda shows anyway. However, David Letterman had the highest ratings since the 90’s and that is rather sad.
Hopefully the media will soon move on to their next new political toy.
Well, when you are in the dumps, you can only go up.
Mainly because Conan is a bomb, I would guess. Me? I got no use for any of the late talkers (or Sunday shows).
AFAIC, 0bama can go to town on Sunday talk shows and Letterman plus whoever else wants him on TV. Maybe Chrissie Matthews and Keith Olbermann can have a Leg Tingler Special with 0bama. Just leave our kids alone.
I sort of assumed Letterman was more politically sophisticated than a high school sophomore. Guess I was wrong.
Actually, it was the highest rating since the Oprah appearence several years ago. And, you have to dig a little into the numbers to really appreciate what happened.
Obama was on Leno earlier this year, about two months(ish) after the inauguration. That appearance garnered a metered rating of 11.2. What's a metered rating? I have no idea, but that's the ratings-speak in the industry.
But, when Barry was on Letterman last week, the metered rating for that show was 5.6 - a 50% decline from the number he posted for Leno. So, while Obama's appearance was a boom to Letterman, he performed very poorly compared to just a few months ago. In short, people are getting sick of seeing him the the tele.
The Fidel schtick is not working too well on the American-Americans, I guess.
Very good. I like that.
Other than his demonstrated ability to harm this nation, the one other thing Obama is an expert at is, destroying his own credibility.
Funny how that works.
He needs to get one ‘ Obama Channel’ and subsidize it
He can probably get all the moey he needs from ACORN.
Heh, heh, heh...can you imagine if Palin agreed to go on five shows on one day? Ratings through the ROOF as people watched one and tivo’d another!
Be funny if that happened next weekend. Would love to be a fly on the wall when Rahm/Axelrod/Obama had temper-tantrum meltdowns.
I would pay anything to see his reaction when he gets the news:D
