We have friends in Ohio who are lifelong DemoRATs. They just changed their Party affiliation to Independent. They despise Zero and his Gestapo and his cohorts in Congress. RATs are leaving their sinking ship in huge numbers. Believe it!
exactly what I predicted the moment I heard a few sound bites of his U.N. performance - no way that U.N. love-fest can be good for Obama's poll numbers. It seemed to me like Obama's love for himself and the (fake)ideals of the U.N. worked against him here.

african americans (first time ive ever typed that) will never disapprove of him; but most (99%) despised george bush. this accounts for at least half of those who strongly approve.........my math tells me that outside of the af/am community, only 15 % of the populaion strongly approves.......to complete my calculaion i need to know the percentages of gays and illegals........my hunch is that less than 5% of white, working americans strongly approve
The overexposure of a traitor will take it’s toll.
I never thought I’d live to see the day when a Frenchman seemed like the true “Leader of the Free World.”

He could also be losing the moonbat wing of the party. Continuing detention, public option equivication, and other stuff could be driving disapproval in the left. The Drive bys didn’t make that connection with Bush’s numbers. Had they read FR they’d have seen that maybe a third of Bush’s negatives came from the right.
My son works with a 20 year old female that says "I hate every square inch of this GD country!". It ruined his whole day as he thought about it.
Wonderful news thanks! I only hope my parents do the same some day.
Mmm, mmm, mmm.

There was poll analysis just a week or so ago that found he has lost the approval of between 33%-38% of the black electorate. The same article stated that he has lost around 25% of his Jewish voters and about 20% or so of the youth vote.
The reasons vary. Some think he is too centrist. Some want a totalitarian state by decree. But all that matters, IMO, is that he loses the votes that gained him the formerly red states and the swing states. If we can remove his rubber stamp congress, then at least he will be forced to attempt to rule by executive decree and that should lose him at least some in the so-called elite sectors of the electorate. The history of the left everywhere is one of internecine fractures that ultimately destroy their hold on power.
He may also be hoping for a terror attack, thinking it will give him the freedom to enact martial law while gaining the type of support the Democrats hated when it was given to W. But any attack will probably take place in the very urban areas that still approve of him and it is difficult to foresee how that will help him.
The fact that the anti-American Americans freely reveal themselves with their idiotic bumper stikers and statements could be a good thing one day.
Things seem to have essentially leveled off since the beginning of July, on both the approve and disapprove trend. We need to convince more people.
Ahhh... I predicted -9 today in yesterdays thread before it was taken down. The overall approval numbers are all but certain to follow. How about back to negative double-digit approval index and 49-51 overall approval tomorrow? :-)
By the way, Gallup has Obamas approval number again at its all-time low of 50% as of yesterday. I wouldnt be at all surprised if it falls to 49% over the weekend when people arent paying as much attention to national headlines. (In other words, theyre less likely to catch the Obama drops below 50% for first time on Gallup headlines that could potentially start a chain reaction of fence-sitters who may start abandoning support for the president.)
You’re right about regret, kjo.
What is amazing to ME is how the media continue to want to prop this guy up—he is unexamined by the LameStream Media...not criticized or challenged, really.
I know George S. did to a small degree...but if the media felt they had a duty to challenge Bush, they’ve almost COMPLETELY abandoned that duty with Obama....I wonder if they’re afraid of being “racist”, OR if they’re so enamored with the reality of a black man being in office that they’re determined to support him tacitly, even when he is utterly wrong.
Clearly he is in too deep...really has no clue what he is doing.
“Hey 0bama, how’s that Letterman thing and those Sunday talk shows thing going then?
We should encourage the Liar In Chief to appear on more TV shows. The laws of diminishing returns are starting to catch up with this guy finally. His bounce from this latest spate of TV appearances have been smaller, and it lasted for a much shorter period. In the coming weeks, he may very well find that any TV appearances whereby he repeats the self same lies he’s been telling, may very well start to give him a negative bounce. Once the public realize his words are just empty words, we’ll be half way home.”
The thing is, I don’t think this idiot president has any clue that people are getting sick and tired of seeing his smug mug on TV regurgitating the same talking points ad nauseum. He really does believe he’s some sort of messianic presence who simply needs to speak and the masses will bow at his alter. The problem is, he thinks the American people are confused and stupid because of Fox News and talk radio and that’s the only reason why they’re not swallowing his message with complete adulation and thanking him for it.

Good point. The U.N. is not popular with the American people and they will not stand for the president cozying up to our enemies with flowery rhetoric and running down the country in the process.
