Can we make sure that Mosam Maher Husein gets his immigration status updated to legal so he can get his right to health care?
Praise Obama!

Smadi had been under continuous FBI surveillance and was arrested after he allegedly placed and tried to detonate an inactive car bomb near Fountain Place, a 60-story glass office tower located at 1445 Ross Avenue, the FBI said.
A round of beers says that he sues because his rights were violated, and wins.

0bama will be on retainer and have it as a memo at the WH web page soon.

3 different plots come to light in 2 days time. The next thing obama will try to do is hush these things up.

Thanks for nothing, McCain and Bush. How about you take that and shove it where the sun don't shine. :-)
So you must be a big believer in Obama, huh? You like having him defending the country now instead of your hated Bush and company?
How about, instead, we give some kudos to the FBI agents that worked this case and got one of the bad guys before they could do any real damage. Lives were saved today. This is a good thing.

He brought a car filled with what he thought was explosives, parked it under a 60-story skyscraper, and activated the trigger. We're lucky the FBI got ahead of him or we'd have another bombing like the first attempt on the WTC, maybe OK City. Oh, the FBI was ahead of this guy alright...all of 19 years old...I think the Feds were the ones that furnished the vehicle, and even packed it with phony explosives for this guy no less....After the Feds read this guys public rants on the internet...
Not what you'd consider highly trained, terrorist operative.

I find this story a little odd.
First it states:
Undercover agents posing as members of an al-Qaida sleeper cell were introduced to him
Then:
The agents meeting with Smadi said they tried to discourage him from violence on several occasions, the release states.
Why would members of an al-Qaida sleeper cell attempt to talk this "terrorist" out of using violence?

Why would members of an al-Qaida sleeper cell attempt to talk this "terrorist" out of using violence? And then supply him with a supposed bomb and a vehicle?

Coincidently, the Ellis County Sheriff's Department said Smadi was arrested on Sept. 11 because he had no driver's license or insurance
The feds that set up this undercover skit with this moron, must have gagged when that happens.
And what does this say about the local law enforcement...They pull over a guy, a Muslim in the country illegally, who is broadcasting on the Internet that he wants to kill Americans, and they give him a ticket for no license and no insurance....lol...that is sad.
I could just see the feds conducting surveillance on this idiot, seeing the local sheriff arrest him for this minor crap, and the Feds run down to the jail, demanding they release Bozo immediately, because the local sheriff is blowing their concocted terrorist bomb plans.

Don’t assume the guy is stupid just because the FBI was able to deceive him.
NEVER underestimate the brilliance of the enemy.
They brought down the World Trade Center with box knives.
They are NOT stupid people.
To: DC Ripper
9/11/01 is what convinced me that they are pretty darned stupid. All that morning I kept expecting to hear about hi-jacked planes all over the country. They had one shot at using airplanes as missiles like that. If they had had crews in virtually every plane in the air that morning they could have hit targets in almost every major city. A very doable thing. That would have devastated this country economically and severely damaged our spirit.
They had one shot to seriously cripple us and they blew it. Those are the actions of punk thugs not a brilliant enemy.

I think the FBI “acted stupidly” in this case. As was true in the Gates affair, the forces of the law inappropriately “profiled” an innocent “person of color.”
