In his new book, "Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage," Best-selling celebrity journalist, Christopher Andersen, has blown a huge hole in the Obama genius myth without intending to do so.
Relying on inside sources, quite possibly Michelle Obama herself, Andersen describes how Dreams came to be published -- just as I had envisioned it in my articles on the authorship of Dreams. With the deadline pressing, Michelle recommended that Barack seek advice from "his friend and Hyde Park neighbor Bill Ayers."
To flesh out his family history, Obama had taped interviews with various family members. Andersen writes, "These oral histories, along with a partial manuscript and a truckload of notes, were given to Ayers." Andersen quotes a Hyde Park neighbor, "Everyone knew they were friends and that they worked on various projects together. It was no secret. Why would it be? People liked them both."
Andersen continues, "In the end, Ayers's contribution to Barack's Dreams From My Father would be significant--so much so that the book's language, oddly specific references, literary devices, and themes would bear a jarring similarity to Ayers's own writing."
More to come!
Well I understand that! I’m just sayin that that little puke will denigrate him even if Rush, Shawn and Mark and all the rest start bangin on this like I also hope they will!!!
With people they deny knowing?
This is hardly a big deal. Lots of celebs use ghost writers. It is not like his ties to Ayers were not known prior to the election or prior to now.
It did not matter last election. After seeing his behavior as president maybe Ayers, Rev. Wright etal will matter more in 2012. But other than that this confirms what we knew about his book and probably books.
I hope and pray that they do exactly that!
But do they lie about it?
That's a winning twofer - kudos!
look up to post 13
I think this is huge because Obama told America that Ayers was just a guy in the neighborhood, he had no associations with him. If they can draw this association and show again that Obama has problems with telling the truth, I think it would be very harmful to him.
During the election the left was screaming at anyone who dared draw the association between the two, that there was no connection. This would sure prove Palin right. She beat the drum pretty hard about Ayers and Obama connection.
I think Breitbart should go after this real hard.
Yes, but Obama’s writing has been pointed to as an indication of his brilliance, and if those writings aren't really his, then they can't legitimately be used as an indication of how bright he is. I think this is highly significant. If this was reported widely by the media it would be a major story. As it stands, however, it is still hearsay and Obama and Ayers can just deny it. The media will give him a pass.
Because I believe Obama specifically, repeatedly denied having help with it. And because the compelling prose is so obviously Ayers’, it blows a hole in the Obama-the-genius-writer myth.
Biggest story in American journalism? My guess is that by tomorrow a Nexis-Lexis of Ayers, Obama and Anderson will return exactly 0 hits. ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN,MSNBC, NYT and WAPO will all ignore as right wing hysteria.
And a nicer guy you will never ever meet. Talk to him for five minutes and you find out he knows everyone.
Really!
Too bad not a single person permitted to “question” Obama will ask him about this issue, or any other importnat issue.

From WorldNetDaily:
Obama was a director of the Woods Fund board from 1999 to Dec. 11, 2002, according to the Fund's website. Obama served on the board with [Bill] Ayers, who was a Weathermen leader and has written about his involvement with the group's bombings of the New York City Police headquarters in 1970, the Capitol in 1971 and the Pentagon in 1972.

It may confirm what YOU knew all along but 50 million people believed Obama when he flatly denied any involvement by Ayers or anyone else in the book's writing. So he is either a pathological liar, has something to hide or has a really bad memory.
Yo Obama

You Lie !!

"In Barack and Michelle, Andersen writes that 'Ayers's contribution' to Dreams was 'significant'
"From Barack and Michelle, pages 165-166:
" In the end, Ayers's contribution of Barack's Dreams from My Father would be significant -- so much so that the book's language, oddly specific references, literary devices, and themes would bear a jarring similiarity to Ayers's own writings. Even the caveat at the beginning of Dreams, in which Barack points out that he uses invented dialogue, embellished facts, composite characters, inaccurate chronology, and pseudonyms to create an 'approximation' of reality, resembles Ayers's defense of the inaccuracies in his memoir Fugitive Days. In the foreword to his book, Ayers states that the book is merely a collection of his personal memories and 'impressions.'
" 'There was a good deal of literary back-scratching going on in Hyde Park,' said writer Jack Cashill, who noted that a mutual friend of Barack and Ayers, Rashid Khalidi, thanked Ayers for helping him with his book Resurrecting Empire. Ayers, explained Cashill, 'provided an informal editing service for like-minded friends in the neighborhood.'
" [...]
" Thanks to help from the veteran writer Ayers, Barack would be able to submit a manuscript to his editors at Times Books."
[End of excerpt]
But crack mediasmatters experts try to discount it all using a year-old Sunday Times of London article. dailycuss, moron.org, huff'npuffpost are sure to cite the year-old article also. What about Mr. Andersen's book just released, Lefties?
I guess that's left to the commentators such as this one:
"This dumb a-- HANNITY dosent seem to realize that for most AMERICANS AYERS and the REVEREND WRIGHT are NOT important."
Hey, except for the misspelling that sounds like Ian Punnett (CoastToCoastAM Saturdays) defending Obama during the election, "I'm tired of hearing about Ayers!"
Yes.
He is.
