We have a bunch of laying hens and a couple of roosters. I love the sound of a rooster crowing. It reminds me of when I was a boy.
If L.A. wasn’t an illegal alien gheto the new law would have been NO ROOSTERS ALLOWED!
I have to comment on this. Crack cocaine is being sold on every street corner, a white person can’t go into parts of town without being shot or beat up, illegal immigrants sprawl all over the place, they can’t pay their bills, but the pass a bill limiting the number of ROOSTERS per household. May God have mercy on our souls. What fools these mortals be!
Far worse than a barking dog.
One rooster is too many.
Most cities permit NO roosters per property. Chickens aren’t a problem, but roosters have this unpleasant habit of waking up before dawn and sounding off. We have a lot of chickens wandering around here in the town where I live in Florida, but every so often the city gathers up the roosters and takes them away.
I guess the hens miss them for awhile...
Better way to stop cockfighting:
“LA passes law limiting illegals to 1 per household.”
THAT would really shake things up down there.
Well there was this girl I used to date....
At least they can still say “A chicken in every pot”.
When I lived in town(Fresno), we had some asian neighbors behind us who had chickens and roosters. I kinda enjoy hearing them crow in the mornings. When we first moved in, my son, who was about 3 at the time, came in saying, “the chickens over there are yelling.”
How many roosters does one need?
Had a farm, roosters are only good for crowing before the sun comes up....hens give you eggs...they don’t need to be fertilized...the idea of eating fertilized eggs if gross,
yep....
LOL! Reminds me of the neighborhood where I sometimes buy gas.
