The Washington Times has obtained a partial list of "artists and influencers" who were participants on the controversial August 10 National Endowment for the Arts hosted conference call. The following links show images of an excel file of some of those on the teleconference call.:

But Huckabee thinks the Arts are just great.

>> But Huckabee thinks the Arts are just great.
That’s because Huckabee is a smarmy, triangulating chump.
Bump
Maybe he plans to lose to Obama just like McCain.
>> Maybe he plans to lose to Obama just like McCain.
Our “friends” in the press will be sure to select a loser for us next time around.
I hope we opt out of their choice, like we didn’t with McCain.
MySpace has a director of political programming????
Here are some ideas on what to start with:
Is the information about them accurate/up to date?
Have these individuals been involved in Democratic politics?
Are they campaign donors? To whom?
Since the Aug. 10 conference call, have any of these individuals been involved in political activism related to health care, environment or education, the subjects suggested by the NEA in the call?
_____
The profession/work of the persons named sound not too likely to be conservative efforts.
This story should have long legs, and the big question is when will Charlie Gibson and Wolf Blitzer hear about it.
I looked at a couple of entries that have web sites. These are hopey changey community organizer types looking for a little NEA money.
Don’t forget, people, that Al Gore owns Current TV, and several of his people are listed here. Will he be getting NEA grants to do his thing?
No. He will get NEA money for what he has already done. This is about payback with tax money. Bill Ayers will probably get a $million for "patriotic performance art".
Keep the pressure on Patriots.
We might also consider that the number of people involved may be a cover for one or two people who are getting the bulk of the money funneled to them. One group, The Creative Coalition, consists of the usual suspects of actors (Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Whoopi Goldberg, etc.) claiming to be a charity organization. Why in the world do they need NEA money? They should be giving money, not receiving it!
Looks like it could also be some payoff for “Humanitainment”, which did a bunch of viral marketing (how appropriate) for Obama in the 2008 campaign.
The stink begins to grow.
Thanks for posting. BTTT!
All I know is that in the Chicago area, Huckabee has a regular two-minute recorded tape that plays after Rush's show is over. It's not connected with the Rush show.
On the tape, he sounds like the best of Barry Goldwater, William Buckley and Sarah Palin combined. He hits every topical conservative hot button utilizing his homey Gomer style.
If this is going on in all major markets, it probably answers your question.
The Huckster obviously is making some expensive moves on his "Road to the White House".
Latching on to spillovers from Rush's program is a blatant but smart move.
