This is a story about a nearly 100-year-old book, bound in red leather, which has spent the last quarter century secreted away in a bank vault in Switzerland. The book is big and heavy and its spine is etched with gold letters that say Liber Novus, which is Latin for New Book. Its pages are made from thick cream-colored parchment and filled with paintings of otherworldly creatures and handwritten dialogues with gods and devils. If you didnt know the books vintage, you might confuse it for a lost medieval tome.

The article is tagged philosophy. Swedenborg was both scient and thologin. One of his works is Rational Psychology OK, but how does it pertain to "news/activism", which is the forum to which you posted?

Emmanuel Swedenborg ... the General Church of the New Jerusalem. Flee this heresy as quickly as you can, my friend.

To: DaveMSmith; what's up
I certainly cannot read the heart of our Lord God Jesus Christ using a Websters dictionary to see the Divine Truth in the Lord's Word. But you will treat the strange writings of a heretic like Swedenborg as divine truth? Odd.

Quite a few years I saw a series of films about Jung. In one of them the
narrator visited Jung's house and discussed the Red Book in a reverential tone, turning the pages so that one could see some of the mysterious paintings that Jung had made in the book.
