Barack Obama has demanded the Pentagon conduct a radical review of US nuclear weapons doctrine to prepare the way for deep cuts in the country's arsenal, the Guardian can reveal.

Obama has rejected the Pentagon's first draft of the "nuclear posture review" as being too timid, and has called for a range of more far-reaching options consistent with his goal of eventually abolishing nuclear weapons altogether, according to European officials.

Advice to the Pentagon: Slooow leak the response to Obama until 2010. The Dims are going to lose Congress big time, and he won’t be able to implement his unilateral disarmament.

I have zero, zip, nada confidence in the outcome of any election as long as there is a single "community organizing" organization in operation. While we are all staring at Acorn, the other 300 branches of "Community Organizations International" (COI) are busy putting the mechanisms in place to guarantee the desired outcome of the 2010 elections. Why else are the demonrats not concerned about the massive outpouring of dissatisfaction that has been evidently visible for the past few months.
