Marc Lamont Hill was on O’Reilly’s show this past week parroting the same smack.

The problem with this idiotic excuse, as I pointed out in a letter to O'Reilly concerning career left-wing apologist (and talented racist hobbyist) Marc Lamont Hill, is that the "defense," if true, is every bit as damning as the videos themselves: "Are you saying the duo visited visited literally dozens of ACORN offices with this act, and NOT ONE ACORN office notified the authorities?"

Wow, that's some "defense." Remind me not to ask you for a legal referral or debating pointers.

1. Giles’ and O’Keefe’s timeframe for filming. Bertha Lewis and others have stated that Hannah and James spent many months visiting scores of ACORN centers to get these few videos. One wizard said Hannah and James had been doing this since 2005, which would have made Hannah, oh, let’s see, about 14 or 15. Hello! I’m a cool dad—but not that cool.

I'm pretty sure the year on one of the videos, at least the one shown on Fox News, was 2005. Someone must have forgotten to change the date.

Doug does a good job of shooting holes in the arguments of ACORN and their defenders. However, had this been any organization other than the liberals sacred ACORN no one would have even attempted to defend them. It wouldn't matter if it was a government agency or a private company. The media would have been united in condemning them.

The liberal media know that when people hear ACORN they think of Obama. This has led them to attempt to protect ACORN and look like fools doing it. Releasing the tapes gradually has caught them in a trap of their own making. They thought they could ignore it. Then they tried to marginalize and defend what any thinking person would find reprehensible.

The execution of this was flawless. To have the liberals machine brought down by a pair of 20 year-olds on a shoestring budget is nothing short of amazing. ACORN must have truly believed they could get away with anything.

As to Acorn, and their "spins," expect to hear more. Every excuse under the sun will be thrown at us. It is their way. These people make telling the truth a crime and not vice-versa. They will offer every blame or excuse that pops into their minds, just to see which one will be accepted and divert the attention and get them off the hook. Always the double-talk will flow. Soon, the story is so clouded and foggy even they will not remember their own lies.
