Federal Judge Clay Land may have made good on his threat of sanctions against a lawyer for an army officer fighting deployment on the claim that President Barack Obama was not born in this country. In an order today Judge Land denied a motion for a Stay of Deployment for Captain Connie Rhodes, filed by Attorney Orly Taitz yesterday. The motion was filed after Judge Land threatened sanctions and dismissed the complaint calling it frivolous. Taitz has 14 days to show why a $10,000 penalty as a sanction should not be imposed against her. We tried reaching Taitz. She has not returned our calls.
In a bizarre twist, News 3 has received a copy of a letter to Judge Clay Land, written by the officer in this case, Captain Connie Rhodes. In it she writes she is shipping out to Iraq and asks the Judge to withdraw the Motion to Stay the Deployment. She denies authorizing Taitz to file on her behalf.

If Obama's going to lie to you about Health Care, Cap & Trade, Stimulus spending, unemployment, the state of the economy, his ACORN involvement, etc – why in the hell does anyone trust that Obama wouldn't lie about his place of birth if that was a problem for him?! Is there a way we can report abuse on Non-Sequitor, (KING of the ugly trolls) ? His articulate arguments take up FAR too much time on these threads.....is there a way to legitimately ban him from this site for all of the dissension he causes.....some spend hours out of their life replying to his frivolous (”truly” frivolous) submissions.
Is that the same neat document that says that the person who shall do this "nominating" shall be a "natural born citizen"???? Is Obama a "natural born citizen"???

I, too, am incredulous that the obvious is not seen. That in lieu of qualifying documentation, there allegedly exists no means to force the candidate for the job to prove his eligibility, while the rest of us give breath/blood tests, urinate into jars, pull out Social Security cards, Birth certificates, driver's licenses, just to get a far more menial job.
I have come to the conclusion that it is past time to

Orly's case is about preventing resort to sedition by using the checks and balances the founders provided to prevent a suspected ineligible usurper from imposing illegal tyranny on the Republic.
Yes, Orly has unprofessionally and illadvisedly let her mouth get away from her at times in her filings which undermines her as an advocate, but this has nothing to do with the fact questions regarding Obama's eligibility, or whether Judge Carter will dismiss on Oct. 5.

You seem pretty sure that Captain Rhodes is planning on committing some war crimes while she's over there. What do you know about her that the rest of us don't?
