President Obama said this week that his health care plan won't cover illegal immigrants, but argued that's all the more reason to legalize them and ensure they eventually do get coverage.
He also staked out a position that anyone in the country legally should be covered - a major break with the 1996 welfare reform bill, which limited most federal public assistance programs only to citizens and longtime immigrants.

My parents spend their summers in Canada (legally) and if (God forbid) they need medical care up there, they send the bill back here to the US.
It is not a stretch to imagine Ob demanding and implementing amnesty to all or any illegal doctors and healthcare personnel so they can deliver healthcare to the rest of us. That should open world-wide doors in regard to professional personnel shortages. I like the non-cultural marxism term ‘personnel’ as it relates to the individual. “Workers, providers” have cultural marxist connotations, and have been in heavier use since the sixties, and now DOMINATE our language use structure.
The best we can hope for, if this passes, is to encourage illegals to go to the zip codes where there is most support for this plan for their health care needs. Congregate around the best hospitals and clinics ... frequently call make appointments at only the top notch doctors and specialists etc in these zip codes.
Let the long lines wind around the block in the areas where people voted most heavily for “change”.
I say we should start an ACORN-like organization which busses illegals to these “change” zones for their health care needs ... makes the appointments for them, etc.
