The left has launched a massive campaign to destroy Glenn Beck who right now, and along with Rush, is the most eloquent, fearless and effective warrior standing between Barack Obama and a collectivist state. The politics of personal destruction is what the left does best and in many ways it is all the left does. Purge as in defame and then dispose of your political enemies is a term that leftists invented in the 1930s when Stalin staged show trials of his political enemies, defamed and demonized them, and then buried them.

I know very well its the Constitution, but just because someone does not pursue this particular avenue of attack, limited as it is unfortunately, does not mean we throw them under the bus like the left.
Tell that to Beck. He's thrown under the bus anyone who challenges BO's Constitutional eligibility by referring to them as birther idiots.
Beck has done more of the cause in the last 6 mos than anyone else I can think of. Do I agree with everything the man says, of course not, but lets not go after someone who is winning one battle just because he will not join ours.
What is it with people who are under the misconception Beck has done it all by himself? Have people forgotten all the guests Beck has on who have done their fair share to expose BO and his socialist agenda? How about the two twenty somethings along with Andrew Breitbart who have exposed ACORN? How about millions of people who have attneded Tea Party rallies nationwide for the last several months? Don't they count? It's amazing people look to Beck as some kind of leader while ignoring the contributions of so many others.

Are you actually saying one individual is bringing down BO? That statement on it's face is ludicrous. The fact Beck has had several people on his show exposing BO is more than enough proof no individual, including Beck can do it by him or herself.I did not mean Beck personally. However, the only lasting and successful attacks have been launched from his show. Calling a man a hypocrite because he doesn't chase one issue while pursuing a hundred others is fatuous. We should really rally behind Beck for what he IS doing and not focus on what he's NOT doing.

I personally don’t consider Glenn a leader.
More of a community organizer. A very effective one!

Best way to measure a conservative’s effectiveness is by how loud the left brays over it.

If anyone issue outweighs any others, it's an issue that goes directly to the Constitutional requirements to become President. Having a usurper in office renders all other matters trivial by comparison. Calling people "birther idiots" because they demand someone who is seeking the office of President of The United States is also fatuous.

Glenn is doing a great job “lately”. Remember he is the face and voice behind these stories, alot of others are doing the actual work. And by some strange coincidence, Glenn has a new book coming out, (Yes folks not Hannity but Beck). And if Glenn wasn't busy exposing Obama and doing a great job, its football season and he would be humiliating convenience store workers on Moron Trivia.

Glenn is a product of Rush, Hannity and everyone that came before him. The media are creating some sort of rift between the talkers to give the impression that they are weak becaise they can’t keep up. This is a typical Alinsky move and why people here are falling for it on beyond me.

So anyone who is not a fan of Beck is a spineless weasel?
To: Man50D
My gosh, do you always read into things,,, Did I EVER say Beck did it all by himself?? Of course not, but he has definitely pointed the way, and gotten the ball rolling so to speak.
And that is what I am saying, their are MANY different “leaders” out there, we just need to let them fight the battles they excel at. (Or better yet, begin to fight them ourselves)

Yep, we should start playing their game instead of playing nice like we always have. They have lots of dirt to dig up and I say “Let’s Dig” . . . a shovel ready project for the GOP to uncover and shine the light on the dirty Dem’s.
This staying above the “fray” has gotten us where we are now so time to change strategies and fight fire with fire.

“I am hearing a lot of Glenn vs Rush comparisons. Please lets not compare the two. The two are entirely different animals and they both have their uses. Compared to Rush, Glenn is a fledgling novice, although very effective in recent days. Rush is a conservative philosopher who boils everything down to the first principles of conservatism. Glenn measures his success in how many thugs from the Obama regime get taken down. Rushs sucess is measured in (besides ratings and ad revenue) where the political center of gravity of the country is headed. Both are important. We dont need a rivalry/feud between the two. We need all the firepower we can get.”
Bravo! Yes, for a short time I was wondering how Glenn was getting stuff way before Rush until I realized that they are just DIFFERENT - Yet STILL doing the same job.
Let Rush continue to educate people on conservative theory. Let Glenn continue to educate people on what’s going on NOW in our government behind our backs.
We need MORE like these two. And we need to STAND behind them without fail. They’re gonna be catching some REAL hell soon.

There are millions of them nationwide.Yes, and on both sides.
But not all of them have radio programs or TV programs.
Not that I'm saying they're any less important. Glenn himself said he stayed away from DC because he didn't want it to be about him.
Your point is correct though. I think you and Glenn would agree.
This "movement" is strong because it's the citizens who are organizing it!

Thanks to Glen Beck, Rush is finally starting to the call the enemy what it is: communism. Gee! If it weren’t for Glen pushing the envelop Rush would still be calling these guys “dangerous radical leftists”.
Glen has been good for all the talk show hosts. He’s been brave.

I agree and I like Beck, Rush, Levin, even Boortz and Sean and all for different reasons. The one who has fallen OFF my list is BOR and I need to find something else to watch at 7.

You are absolutely correct, I heard Savage saying he was a conservative, yet he had some leanings that not all people would agree with as conservatives.

I loved Moron Trivia...always looked forward to hearing it on Glenn’s show. It made me laugh on that boring drive to work.
And, you’re right Guru, Glenn is doing a really great job. Just wish Fox would change his time slot to 7PM. MHO I think he would blow that “pithy person” away.
