Not only that but Rush has given many a conservative voice their start on Radio.
If Beck keeps up his current pace, I am afraid he will wear himself out. His schedule must be exhausting, much more so that Rush who broadcasts from home studios under some informal conditions. Beck is also very funny and much more hip in his presentation of things...a little akin to a John Stewart with an awful lot of comedy and sarcasm mixed in. He is very quick and has the capacity to make his case in a very measured and sequenced way and then delivers proposed solutions. He is the most amazing and formidable media personality I have ever seen. His detractors should fear him.
In other words, “Let’s see if we can put a wedge between Conservatives and divide and conquer them with their infighting.”

Please let me correct my statement. Conservatives don’t fear conservatives NOR do they fear liberals - regardless of who they are.

This should not be an issue of Beck V Limbaugh. The issue should be framed as Conservatives V Obozo, of which Glen and Rush are two of the major players.
Since Rush and Glenn are not on at the same time, we don’t have to fight. We can enjoy both.
And don’t forget Beck does best selling books and road shows too so it is hard to call Rush the top guy anymore except for perhaps in the AM talk show world.

I'm pretty sure that both Mssrs. Beck and Limbaugh have enormous respect for one another.
As some have mentioned above, the left is trying to shake the box in order to get the two to fight.

Glen is doing great things but works in TV, and honestly, I turned his show in for the first time during the 912 rally in DC.
5 Min later I was bored with his ego and flipped the dial to CSPAN.
Rush is entertaining. Most of these guys have decent hearts but are annoying
