I'm hearing that Barack Obama plans on making the rounds of most of the Sunday morning news shows this upcoming weekend, and I'm thinking; What? We don't already know you're in favor of health care reform? Of cap and trade? Of just about anything a "right" thinking leftist loves and adores?
Has there been a day -- or even an hour in any day since January 20th of this year -- that the President hasn't been on the airwaves, imploring us to believe the sky was about to fall down upon our heads for real this time?
Surely, as an incipient and ever-growing (and mainstream media-supported) cult of personality, Mr. Obama is doing a land office business in the sale of "yes we cans" and "we have a moral obligation tos..." these days. Really, he actually seems to be playing the main character from the 1927 Sinclair Lewis novel Elmer Gantry.
In all of this, the President has been both con man and evangelist in the new-style Gantry morality play which he kicked off with his speech to a moonstruck 2004 Democratic convention.
He's still riding the wave to this day, aided and abetted by a Jim Lefferts-like media, at once dying to expose Obama for the huckster he really is but also captivated by his charm and cunning.
It didn't seem to go too well for crusading big city reporter Lefferts in the novel -- at least morally -- as he eventually helped Gantry to fight off an indignant crowd that had sought to punish the con man/evangelist for his assorted lies.
Somewhere, Sinclair Lewis and others like H. L. Mencken … are sitting together and looking at the goings on between this President and the media and wondering how the fourth estate ever let itself be so hoodwinked.

Maybe we’ve been wrong all along. Maybe Obama is a secret weapon engaged by the right to get themselves back in power. In that vein, that you Mr. Obama. :)

At first I was really worried about this Presidency. But DAILY, I see that he’s so screwing over and destroying his own party, as well as his adoring fans in and out of the media, that I’m now convinced that this will work out just fine in the end. ;)
Yup. Most reasonable folks have got to be saying “WHAT is with this guy?”

I was there in Metropolis, IL when BO had rhis pic taken with Superman. If you had X-ray vision like the Man of Steel, you could see through Superman to me standing at the courthouse door wondering what the big fuss was with the Junior Senator from IL.
I have never seen a man fall as far, as fast, propelled by his own narcissum and arrogance.
And he is not done yet. They say to actors “believe the lie, (you’re wonderful, you’re beautiful, you’re the greatest ever) but remember that it is a lie”.
Obama forgot the second part.
This is not going to end well.
I notice Obama has big ,white teeth in that cartoon. That cartoonist is racist. And an ‘anti- dentite’ .
Not only is that S*B trying to get parking space in our heads, he is trying to double park..
It’ll end well for right minded people, and not for 0bama. Although in truth, the sooner the hook pulls him off the stage, the less bad karma he’ll rack up.

Zero would be well advised to ensure that his Secret Service folks are well cared for.
Czar Pelosi may very well be onto something — in a different context from her Harvey Milk tears — for I suspect that before the clock runs out on this Marxist administration of inept thugs, there may well be blood in the streets of our once-great Republic.
I think we need a WH reality cam, showing us Michelle working the garden, Odumbo smoking whatever, the kids playing with the dog and so on.
