...O'Reilly Factor at #8...the only news show to crack the top 15...two WWE shows in the top ten....they must be making some nice coin...their stock pays a 6.7% dividend....BTW, is that Vince McMahon's outfit?
To: STONEWALLS
WWE (Vince McMahon’s outfit) continually draws high ratings. For years and years and years and years ....
Longer than Gunsmoke and M*A*S*H and even the Today Show. It been around for ages.

TCM had “Sonny Boy” on their Friday night “Underground” series. Featuring David Carradine in drag in perhaps his best acting job besides Kill Bill II. It was weird, funny, and loaded with symbolism. Rare to see on TV these days.

I guess more people are interested in watching the Buckeyes lose another big game than they are about hearing the news from Oreilly.

WWE #7 and #9...very sad commentary on America...very sad. Neanderthals in ascension.

“WWE #7 and #9...very sad commentary on America...very sad. Neanderthals in ascension.”
...there was a time I would have agreed with you....but I saw “The Wrestler” and came away with a different outlook...what those guys go thru is a tough grind.....and that was accurately dipicted in the movie according to industry insiders....Mickey Rourke was terrific in the role of Randy the Ram btw.

7 and 9? The WWE is slipping. They were consistently top 5.

Just because many in the industry endure hardship does not make professional wrestling any less of a low brow entertainment which panders to the very worst in human nature...Roman gladiators endured nightmarish hardship, but it still embodied the very worst in humans.

Oh ok, tell that to all the wounded soldiers they visit in Walter Reed and other VA hospitals. Tell that to the Make-A-Wish foundation kids whose wish is to meet john Cena. Tell that to all the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan when WWE goes over there to the “Tribute to the Troops” shows every year.
Dis wrestlers all you want, but I can guarantee they have done more for our troops and for sick children than most of us could ever even think of doing.

You can't buy your way into Heaven. If your job is to pander to man's basest instincts of violence and amorality, don't expect praise for the little good you do in your off time.
As far as I am concerned, there is nothing noble or uplifting about professional wrestling, especially in the form it now manifests itself.

I can’t figure out these cable “seasons”. They announce a new season, show 6 episodes, then announce another “new season” to start 6 months later.

And I repeat that they’ve done alot more for alot more people than you ever have, but go on and continue to sit in judgement. It’s not like there’s a Bible verse about judging others...oh, wait a minute...

Oh! So like I shouldn't "judge" that Obama is a bad president or that his actions are detrimental to our nation and our national security.
