Since he is obviously a troll just trying to make conservatives look like we don’t support following the law, is there a way to ban him from freepers? He makes us all look bad.

First

Unfortunately, I can’t judge without knowing more of this story.

Unfortunately your first sentence did exactly that.

There has got to be more to this story than is being reported.

You are probably thinking of Bloomberg News. Breitbart is new on the scene; Bloomberg’s been around awhile.

However, conservatism is based on logic and based on the rule of law.

Dang, I knew there was some reason we keep losing.

I disagree. I didn’t prematurely judge by indicating that there was more to the story. By “judging”, I was referring to the guilt or innocence of the arrest guy and the guilt or innocence of the police department. Since this article ONLY gives the perspective of the arrested guy then by default, we have not been given the FULL story.
Where is the arrest record or comments by the police department beyond the actual arrest charge? Therefore, my statement that we do not have all of the story is correct and I still have not judged who was wrong in this encounter.

Answer this question: Why did they throw him up against a car and haul him in. Last time I looked they gave you a ticket for posting stuff illegally, just like a traffic ticket. Sounds to me like some cops went overboard, AGAIN, on an arrest.

And where has he broken the law, Einstein? You do know that political speech is protected under the 1st amendment, right?

I’m confused. Where was there any vandalism? What property did he destroy? And since “when” does putting/taping fliers up on poles constitute criminal mischief or grafitti?

Besides, DemocRat Mayor Bill White must think that anyone that spray paints grafitti (which Fuhre did NOT do) is A-OK... since White passed an edict that punishes property owners to the tune of $500 per incident, if they do not remove the grafitti themselves, at their own cost. To me, that must mean that destruction of private property by grafitti is NOT a crime or even criminal mischief.

Am I off base here, or is this just another typical leftist double standard?

Nah. You know I have found that it is easier to just ignore such posters.

There are a few that enjoy this kind of nonsense. If you want to report abuse you can but sometimes that will get you kicked instead. I say water off of a duck’s back and go on to more important things

I think the problem is that many conservatives don’t always follow logic or the rule of law either, which is why conservatism has failed in the past.
Look at the previous Republican majority in Congress. They lost the faith of the people because they did NOT follow these principles (ie. contract with America).
Liberals never follow the rules, but they don’t really care either. They have few morals and don’t hold each other accountable to any moral standard. Of course, liberals are very emotionally based thinkers.
Conservatives on the other hand only fail when we follow in the liberal footsteps and show a disregard for the rules. Tthe conservative is always crucified by the libs and the conservatives every time the conservative is caught not following the rules (ie. Sanford affair vs. Clinton affair).
Conservatism only works when we all hold fast to our conservative values and follow logic and the rules.

Think about this latest leftist BS before you post a sign about a garage sale! This IS the Obamanation. Hopey/Changey enough for ya?

I hate to say it, but Fuhre should have done his sign posting in the dark of night. Let the lefties wake up to thousands of anti-Zero posters next time.

Actually, you’re wrong. In vandalism cases, a person can be arrested if the damage is estimated to be above a certain dollar amount. Also, if the anti-obama activitist was on private property without the consent of the owner, he is also trespassing. Both offenses can lead to arrest in TX.
Also, we don’t know if the activist tried to fight with the police, asserting that he has the right to post the flyers. Again, we are only hearing the activist’s side of this story. We are not hearing the police department’s side, the city’s side, or any bystander’s side.
In reality, who actually saw the activist “thrown up against the car”. The activist is the only one making this claim. I have read an article yet that provides a bystander that is making the same claim.
Be patient and wait for ALL of the facts. If the cops are wrong, I already said to sue them, but if the activist is wrong, then so be it.

Alex Jones had an Obama Joker Poster Contest?

Well that explains his absence from George Noory's CoastToCoastAM. Jones was a virtual co-host while he was attacking Bush -- now that he's going after President Obama I guess Noory wants nothing to do with him.

(He was on the other night as Noory grilled him about how dare Jones post false information about President Obama.)

This has nothing to do with 1st amendment rights.
This whole argument depends on the FULL cirumstances. If he was putting the flyers on private property, without the owner’s consent, then he is guilty trespassing and vandalism at the very least (and in TX he is very likely to be shot - which is justified in TX under our Castle Doctrine).
Yes, he has 1st amendment rights, but only until those rights infringe on someone else’s property rights. At least in TX, you can’t paint, post, or otherwise deface someone’s property in the name of the 1st amendment, without consent.
With your argument of 1st amendment rights, what is then stopping pro-Obummer supporters from coming on private property or public property and posting pro-obama posters without consent? You can’t have it both ways.

If you look at where he was posting the signs, they were on public property. The only argument the city has is to claim it was vandalism of city property. But then every other sign posted, taped, stuck in the ground on the corner, etc. would also violate that- including garage sale signs. You either enforce all of it or none of it. If grandma posting lost dogs signs isn’t slammed into a police car and cuffed, then the law is not being applied accordingly.

The fact is you cannot get justice in any of the large cities in the US, and visiting such cities is hazardous to your health.

I hope all of you are posting similar posters on your private property.

They will have a tough time with millions of these posted legally.

Post them!
