This is like saying “New Yorkers still want a Gotti”. And the parallels are pretty exact, especially when you look at the original generation and the succeeding generations.

I’m from Massachusetts.
I don’t vote Kennedy.
Never did.
Never will.

But, of course, how the MA graveyard residents vote, that’s a different kettle o’ fish entirely.

I lived in Mass. for a good while.

They *do* learn.

They like being perverse, and they like being seen by the nation as being perverse.

“Quirky Massachusetts.”

How Yankee.

I grew up there but left a long time ago - I know not everyone up there drinks the Kennedy Kool-aid - but a hell of a lot still do.

Funny I have been a registered Republican voter in Massachusetts, (yes there are 5 of us here in the Peoples Republic) for 31 years and I have never been polled. I wonder why? Is it because of the R after my name on the voter rolls?

After dealing with those media outlets in Boston and hearing the people of Massachusetts in interviews this comes as no surprise.

On Joe Kennedy running for Congress: "Oh, he's a Kennedy we need him!"

My reply: "So, Joe Kennedy is the same as toilet paper?"

Question to someone on how the state can keep sending a drunken, philandering murderer back to the Senate: "Well, if a Senator's job is to bring recognition to his state, he's doing a good job."

My reply: "The state of Illinois had quite a bit of recognition brought to it by John Wayne Gacy, but nobody wants to run him for the US Senate."
