Linda McMahon Now Running As Republican for Senate Donated to The DNC!
Political Lore ^

Posted on 09/17/2009 6:37:09 AM PDT by DecoyJames

"As for Linda McMahon, conservatives may find her political donation record more than troubling. She donated an astounding $15,000 to the Democratic National Campaign Committee between the years of 2006-2007. She also has donated $7,800 to Rahm Emanuel, the same Emanuel who is President Obama’s chief of staff and leading the charge on the Obama administration’s liberal agenda. It may only be a matter of time before McMahon is labeled a political opportunist."

Love to know how much the DNC is donating to her...especially if the DNC internal polling only shows an “R” winning....

Never mind, I see she is up against Peter Schiff in the primary. From what I understand, at least fiscally he is a strong Conservative.

“McMahon has stated publicly that she is willing to spend $25 million of her own wealth on the race”

Why would someone spend $25 million for a job that pays $174,000?

Rob Simmons, former congressman
State Senator Sam Caligiuri
Tom Foley, former U.S. Ambassador to Ireland

Plus I think there is a Dem in a primary against Dudd.

A Connecticut republican is indistinguishable from Ted Kennedy.

The same reason President (then Senator Obama) said he never could his $4 Million dollar home until he became a Senator (a job that pays $174K/year.)

In order to ‘chow down’ forever from the public trough of $$$. It’s simply a down payment for the future...

Didn’t know about Schiff. Lots of options, which I think is good.

"CT, running for Dodd’s seat in the senate."

That's exactly the reason I asked what state this was. It's crazy to think a conservative can win in a liberal state. When talking liberal states I'll gladly take a RINO who will vote right half the time though over a Democrat will will vote wrong 100% of the time.

In the end though it's kind of a moot point and I doubt Chris Dodd is going anywhere. As long as he tows the liberal line and brings home the pork his seat is safe.

Wasn't that when Hillary was queen?

Maybe she didn't like a black guy taking over.

Why don’t we judge based on her whole record, not just a tidbit?

^^^^
Yeah, business people sometimes donate to both sides, but the woman donated to the rabid Rahm Emmanuel. Troubling, indeed.

Incumbents always have an advantage even when trailing in the polls (and Dodd is trailing last I checked). But still I think Dodd is vulnerable, I just don’t think the WWE woman is going to win in the primary.

RINOs are (sadly) the best my state can hope for on our side.

Gee, ya think?

Let's see...Chris Dodd, butt boy to bankers, gets in trubble cuz of um, a rather cheap mortgage. From a creep he's supposed to be regulating, not dating.

Pete Schiff, hard line hard bitten son of an Evil Tax Protester, knocks out all the buffoons on national TV and exposes the bust out game being run by the DNC at Fannie and Freddie, ably assisted by the cash groveling RINO's at the RNC. So Pete makes a lot of enemies.

Think maybe Chrissy called in a few markers with the RINO front? Said, you guys run a dark horse to screw Petey, I get back in, I throw you a few bones? Ken makes a call to Rahm and the deal goes down. Linda gets the call and is told "have some fun, you won't win, we'll make it right for ya when its over".

Welcome to the land of criminals.
