What’s missing from the New York Times coverage of ACORN

The Fishwrap of Record has finally seen fit to tell its readers about the latest ACORN scandals (the San Bernardino tapes, which dont get a mention, are beyond belief). True to form, the New York Times commits grievous sins of omission that whitewash the papers own role in deliberately covering up ACORNs illicit activities before Election Day last November.
The Times article by Scott Shane casts the ACORN stings as a purely partisan game: Conservatives Draw Blood From Acorn, Favored Foe.
TOPICS: News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: complicit; complicity; drivebymedia; progressivemedia; sourcetitlenoturl
Malkin was just on Fox and Friends, talking about how the NYT knew of Acorn wrongdoing for a year and covered it up.

The complicit progressive media is an information rationing body.

Soon I think the ‘paper’ that most NYTimes reporters will have to deal with, is the lightly waxed version with the circle that they have to center the McDonald’s cheeseburger on.
Beyond pathetic...culpable.

How did the Clinton's miss this story or are they just as entangled in this ACORN mess as Der Obama?

NBC Nightly’s story was #2 from the lead and laughably weak. Their lead was a self-congratulatory piece on the Jimmah Cahtah making a fool of himself piece from the night before.

One of the best books regarding how the NY Times “lies” is:
Journalistic Fraud: How The New York Times Distorts the News and Why It Can No Longer Be Trusted (Hardcover)
By Bob Kohn, published 2003.
It is a text book of how to manipulate the truth.
No longer in print but Amazon can refer you other new/used book outlets. The prices are as cheap as 1 penny, that is right, one cent, plus S&H.
Don't let the price scare you off. You will keep it on your desk to see what editorial trick the NY Times is using.
Don
t believe it made the NY Times Review, but I could be wrong.

The San Bernadino tape truly was “beyond belief”. It does appear the woman was mostly lying to them, probably just because she liked sounding more important to them.

The New York Times has deliberately downplayed this story. To tackle it directly the paper would have to report on the New York City ties involving ACORN and the far left wind Working Families Party. It would also have to investigate the relationship of Steven Kest, the ACORN office in Brooklyn, and Kest’s relationship with Obama.

Come on NYT, just pretend ACORN is a Halliburton subsidiary, or that they supported George W. Bush, and go nuts...
Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.
