I finally got some of my images gathered, resized, and tweaked. Many of them are posted at our local tea party web site at http://www.chattanoogateaparty.com/resources/photo-gallery/washington-dc-september-12-2009/. Here's a few of them...
The crowd...
A true patriot...
Joe was quite popular...
No left turn...
Some of my local cohorts with our banner...
Who is John Galt...
And my personal favorite...
The march and rally was an amazing event. Just amazing! So many friendly people, all with a common cause!
are these the racist the libs keep talking about...Looks like a great bunch of beautiful loyal Americans that love their country.
What impresses me is every sign is unique. Unlike the Astroturf democrat rallies. Great job people. Sooner or later they will hear from all of us now.
Great post, thank you for putting these pics up!
Take what????
Like the “cross your heart” bra/pistols
magnificent!!! thanks for posting, love the ‘constitution’ idea.
Great pictures! I viewed them all and did not see a masked face in the whole crowd! Real Americans don’t need to hide their faces.
The signs alone were worth the trip.
Tick...tick...tick

Are these the white people the MSM/Left and even many in our government hate?
meyer, this is the best, most effective post I have ever seen on FreeRepublic. As I said before, the signs alone were worth the trip.
Our lib “friends” need to check out the photo gallery and see the handmade creative signs.
Send the link to everyone you know who claims that the rally was anything other than a TRUE “grassroots” movement.
The staffer at Maxine Water’s office said he was on the Mall on Saturday. He saw racist signs.
Me:”What were they?”
Staffer: Obama as a witch doctor. (He was quick to point out that it was pagan, and cultural.)
Me:”So you have a problem with pagans and other cultures?” Staffer: No.
Me: “The Left slams Christians all the time.” (Can’t remember what he said.)
Me: “While I wouldn’t use it. The witch doctor analogy isn’t
racist. It’s referring to healthcare.
Me: “How many signs like that did you see?”
Staffer: I don’t know. Several.
Me: “So you saw “several” signs that you didn’t like out of
two million people.”
Staffer: Well I wouldn’t say 2 million.
Me: “That’s the Park Service estimate. But let’s say they
were wrong and there were only 500,000. You only saw
a few offensive signs out of that many?”
Staffer: Well, I didn’t see all the signs.
Me: “No. Of course not. But you saw alot of people and only
a few were offensive. Isn’t free speech? Where’s the
racism?
Staffer: I’ve got to go.
Me: “Okay. But before you do please tell her that I am ready
to meet with her. She can interview me anytime. Let me
give you my name and number.
Staffer: Do you live in her district?
Me: “Why do you ask? Funny that the Republicans seldom ask.
Only Democrats. No. I don’t. But when she defames me,
she’ll hear from me. She makes policy that effects me,
so she’ll hear from me. She was elected with money
and help from outside her district. Don’t they get a
voice?”
Then I gave him my info. Nice guy that I hope thinks about our conversation.
Love the “Who is John Galt?” poster. I made a quick internet research assignment last year for my high school class to find the source of the statement, what it referred to, which book it came from, information on the author etc., etc. I’m going to do it again this year. In fact, I just came across the assignment today in my files at school.
ping for l8r
Actually, there were a couple but I can't dig them up right now. I did note that the grim reaper was getting interviewed during the march...
It was enormous and regardless of how much the left-wing media tries to understate the size and importance of the event, we have made ourselves noticed. They pretend like we're small and invisible, but we're large and noticeable.
It was a great and inspiring event. I was pleased to finally meet Jim Robinson in person. We have a lot to thank him for.
And to FReepers Maureen and Ronna, it was fun on the subways, wasn’t it?
A million and a half of the nicest people you could meet at a large gathering. Salt of the earth. Anyone else meet the “Boob Czar”? I’d have appointed her in a heartbeat.
Here’s a video that my Father and his wife did. They also attended the March.
It is a little too fast (running through photos), but overall it is a good video.
Enjoy!
