Interesting ... it only leaves me with one question ... what is this thingy called a “newspaper”, and why would you have one in your home?
Is that some darn new-fangled invention I haven’t heard about?
Charlie Gibson:(laugh) I dont even know about it. Uh, so you got me at a loss, I dont know. Uh, uh, but, but. . . .
I don’t watch either of them, but both Leno and Letterman make fun of Republicans and conservatives, so I would never have occasion to turn on their dumb-arse programs. What you get mostly on those programs is puffed-up self-important Hollyweird libtards promoting their latest movie.
I get lotsa laughs right here on FR. I will go out and watch the occasional movie, including a comedy from time to time. But I have no interest in the private lives or opinions of actors and actresses, which is what you get on those shows.
You could also watch a lot of the comedy classics on youtube or TV Land.
Also free online videos of classics at:
I have watched TV shows and movies on hulu.com, but not familiar with those other websites. Thanks very much! I will definitely make note of them and check them all out.
C'mon..give me a clue, a hint, spot me two letters...rhymes with???
You’re welcome. You have to search around each of the sites to find the good stuff (old-time classics), but they’re there.

Please add yours to the growing pile of congrats.
This is a very courageous move in a County that is totally controlled by Democrats, and has a 9:1 Dem registration.

Thanks! Will do.
I noticed this about the news networks years ago before I stopped watching them (about 12+ years ago or so). For example, some politician would give a long winded speech that could last from 15 minutes to a half hour. Naturally, the networks didnt have the time to air the speech in its entirety (with the occasional exceptions like the State of the Union address). So they would air one or two brief clips of the speech. Yet I noticed that all three networks all gave us the same clips. You'd think that the other networks would find something else, soemthing different to highlight in the politicians speech.
Dude, I did the same thing, over and over again, back in the 1960's when I was a kid. In Rochester, NY, the three broadcast channels were 8, 10, and 13 -- and it became a game for me to quickly flip between the three news broadcasts and see if I could get them to complete eachother's sentences. They were THAT coordinated, even back then.
It was the very first glimmer of understanding I had, even as a kid, that something was very, very wrong.
It was my first step to becoming a conservative.
