Interesting ... it only leaves me with one question ... what is this thingy called a “newspaper”, and why would you have one in your home?

Is that some darn new-fangled invention I haven’t heard about?

I don’t watch either of them, but both Leno and Letterman make fun of Republicans and conservatives, so I would never have occasion to turn on their dumb-arse programs. What you get mostly on those programs is puffed-up self-important Hollyweird libtards promoting their latest movie.

I get lotsa laughs right here on FR. I will go out and watch the occasional movie, including a comedy from time to time. But I have no interest in the private lives or opinions of actors and actresses, which is what you get on those shows.

I have watched TV shows and movies on hulu.com, but not familiar with those other websites. Thanks very much! I will definitely make note of them and check them all out.

You’re welcome. You have to search around each of the sites to find the good stuff (old-time classics), but they’re there.

Please add yours to the growing pile of congrats.

This is a very courageous move in a County that is totally controlled by Democrats, and has a 9:1 Dem registration.

the stories run on each of the networks were the identical stories run in the same order. Now, their timing was slightly off from each other and the coverage had subtle differences, but every story I saw was on all three.

I noticed this about the news networks years ago before I stopped watching them (about 12+ years ago or so). For example, some politician would give a long winded speech that could last from 15 minutes to a half hour. Naturally, the networks didnt have the time to air the speech in its entirety (with the occasional exceptions like the State of the Union address). So they would air one or two brief clips of the speech. Yet I noticed that all three networks all gave us the same clips. You'd think that the other networks would find something else, soemthing different to highlight in the politicians speech.

Last night I did a little experiment. I have not watched the news on ABC, NBC or CBS in forever. But I was curious to see if any of them were going to mention the Acorn story. I flipped between all three channels at about 45 - 90 second intervals (my wife threw the news paper at me and went upstairs to "actually watch TV."). I missed the first 15 minutes but found something else I thought amazing. Not only did I not see the Acorn story in the time I was watching, the stories run on each of the networks were the identical stories run in the same order. Now, their timing was slightly off from each other and the coverage had subtle differences, but every story I saw was on all three. For example, each of the three did a piece on the credit crunch and each channel spotlighted either a family or person that the credit crunch was affecting. Each did a piece on the little girl that was kidnapped forever ago and talked about links to other previous crimes in the 80s. How do they each "independently" decide to run the same stories? Why are all the stories in the same order? To be fair, I have only done this once so it could have been pure coincidence for one evening. I can tell you this, there is nothing unique about any of them. It is no wonder they are flying a jet at full throttle with no wings

Dude, I did the same thing, over and over again, back in the 1960's when I was a kid. In Rochester, NY, the three broadcast channels were 8, 10, and 13 -- and it became a game for me to quickly flip between the three news broadcasts and see if I could get them to complete eachother's sentences. They were THAT coordinated, even back then.

lowbridge, this has been going on since I was a kid. It's as if the 'free press' that we were told we had were closely coordinated by some central outfit. See my post above -- it was eerie even in the 1960's and 1970's, and I saw it hundreds of times. Like I said, it became a game to try to make them complete one another's sentences. Sometimes I succeeded.

It was the very first glimmer of understanding I had, even as a kid, that something was very, very wrong.

It was my first step to becoming a conservative.
