White House: Criticism of Obama not based on race

WASHINGTON – The White House says President Barack Obama doesn't believe he's being criticized because of his race.

Spokesman Robert Gibbs said Wednesday that Obama — the nation's first black president — doesn't think that criticism of his policies is "based on the color of his skin."

Gibbs was asked about the topic following comments on Tuesday by former President Jimmy Carter.

And the House of Representatives needs to pass a resolution of disapproval of Carter and his comments.

I guess this really is a transparent administration cause it sure is transparent what's going on. The State Run Media and other leftists run around claiming every objection to Obama's policies is racists. Then the White House claims, no, no, no, chuckle, chuckle we don't think that, wink, nod, nod to their mouthpieces and then repeat as necessary! They know full well that hundreds upon hundreds of repetitive charges through all of their organs will be heard by millions repeatedly but few will hear Gibbs denial.

Repeat as necessary until the sheeple are lulled into believing that all opposition to The One is racists.

Obama is trying to remain above this fray, but if he really believes this, he needs to have a strongly-worded talk with Congress.

Joe Wilson got "reprimanded" for doing something the Democrats regularly did to Bush, because the Congressional Black Caucus insisted on playing the race card. And the rest of the Democrats were cowed into going along.

Unless Obama sends out the message that it has to stop, it will continue. It's not enough to send his press secretary to say "we disagree". It has to be "Enough of this crap!".

However, I don't expect Obama to do so. It was white liberal guilt that got him elected, and he is going to milk it as long as he can. If it finally poisons the atmosphere to the point that he loses the high ground, he might do something. But by then, it will be too late.
