US special envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu twice on Wednesday. Senior Palestinian officials who met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas after his meeting with the American statesman Tuesday told Ynet that the US commitment to reach a peace deal within two years was clarified during the meeting.
The Palestinians estimate the Americans are adopting de facto the plan presented by Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.

The meeting between Mitchell and Netanyahu started about an hour late on Wednesday. The two discussed the possibility of holding three-way talks between Netanyahu, Abbas, and Obama on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session next month. Sources in Ramallah estimate that three-way talks will actually take place, but will not necessarily signify the start of peace negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

All at the expense of Israel. Obama is dooming his administration. If Jews in America will ever take off their blinders they will find out that the democrat party is the one who sells Israel out as policy. It is apparent that the leftists in the American government take the Jewish vote absolutely for granted. Connect the dots soon.

US special envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell met Tuesday morning with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, but failed to reach an agreement on a three-way meeting between Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and US President Barack Obama during the United Nations General Assembly in New York next week.
An official at the Prime Minister's Office said, however, that the sides had made additional progress, likely referring to the settlement construction issue. The US has demanded that Israel freeze the construction for a year, while Israel is ready to freeze it for only six months...”
Prior to the election, I was on a liberal Jewish site, prior to being banned because I kept calling one of the administrators of his flagrant disregard of his own rules. I warned them of Obama’s lack of support for Israel, but they found evidence that he was a friend of Israel.
Well, they got what they deserved, but I hope it doesn't cost Israel its existence, or worse, lead to Armageddon.
Unfortunately, that may be true. They need to embrace the truth.........
You're right. My theory, and that of others, as to underlying motivation for at least 70% of the Jewish vote: Conservatives abhored (and still abhor) communists. Hitler abhored communists; ergo, conservatives are equated with Nazis. Also, Nazis (and conservatives) characterized as right wing, however inaccurately, is a another factor.
I appreciate your sentiments chesley but the sooner it all winds up to Armageddon the sooner we are out of here!
