Cable news ratings, September 14, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:

• Fox News topped all its cable news competitors – CNN, HLN and MSNBC – in prime time last night, in total viewers and the A25-54 demographic. The top program was Bill O’Reilly’s 8pmET FNC hour in both categories.

• The #1 non-FNC show was MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann in total viewer’s and Nancy Grace’s HLN show in the demo.

• The #2 show on cable news was Glenn Beck’s 5pmET hour in total viewers and Sean Hannity at 9pmET in the demo.

Fox News had better watch out. I see that HLN (formerly known as Headline News) is giving Joy Behar a weeknight show. You just know that that show will shoot straight to the top of the ratings list. How not?

Yes and four users of a Y workout facility in Ipswich, MA, were shocked, shocked that they were subjected to the hate speech of Fox News while on their exercise bikes. They got the TVs changed to another station (even though the club’s policy is that anyone is welcome to watch what they want, just ask) but when the admitted conservative club manager got back, Fox News was back. “You can’t handle the truth!”

I posted a thread on FR about it and some replies said they looked up some of these complainers and found they were bigtime moonbats.

Yes, it does. The traditional MSM outlets and newspapers are just re-aligning the deck chairs. It's fun to watch them lose market share and money!!

Cass Sunstein (Obama 's new regulatory czar) is a putz, but he wrote about some sociological experiments awhile back on a phenomenon called "polarization" which seems to come into play with the current plight of the MSM. The more money and viewers/readers they lose the more they move to the left and cling to their to radical agenda.
