Michael Moore, the man of many hats - documentary filmmaker, political scientist and now, singer.
Moore has been making the rounds to promote his new movie, "Capitalism: A Love Story." On NBC's Sept. 15 "Jay Leno Show," Moore appeared and was asked what was wrong with capitalism.
"Capitalism is actually legalized greed," Moore said. "There's nothing wrong with people earning money, starting a business, selling shoes. That's not what I'm talking about. We're at a point now Jay, in this country, where the richest 1 percent, the very top 1 percent have more financial wealth than the bottom 95 percent combined."

Leno and his staff showed terrible judgment having this buffoon on their show in the first week. I was flipping around looking for something to watch last night and decided, what the heck, I’ll check out Leno’s new show. Just as a flipped on NBC, I see this worthless blob on the screen wearing a baseball cap and turned it off. I won’t likely be back.

That quote is the problem and it’s a sentiment that many Americans believe. Where in the world are they learning that we live in a democracy?
How hard is it for teachers to impart to their students that we live in a Republic, where the sovereignty resides in each individual.
Leno could have sunk Moore’s ship with that one fact; “No, Michael, we live in a Republic.”
