It is awful that organized crime only controls gay bars and not other types of drinking establishments.

It must have something to do with that Sopranos story line that outed Vito as being gay.

When my wife was in law school at NYU, her cousin got me a job bar tending at a NYC gay bar and as far as I could tell the place was not owned by gay mobsters.

That is the question I keep asking myself every night.

Same here, as I would try go to sleep pondering problems at work and how I would pay all my bills and pay for my kids college, etc. etc. and just as I would be about to fall asleep it would hit me, are some gay bars run by the mob?

And I would be up all night never being able to answer that all so important question.

I used to have drinks and dinner with a certain made guy .... some things we didn't discuss, but they were always interesting evenings.
He told me he owned two gay bars... saying “Hey they don't tear my clubs up, they pay six bucks for that tutti fruity (stuff) I make ten grand a month off each.

A lot of them are good dancers which attracts young ladies who just think they only want to dance. Now you tell me I'm a crazy?

They own stripper bars. They work the girls like mules, get em hooked on drugs so they give back all their pay, push them into prostitution and porno - use em up and push em out.

No I do not know strip clubs but there would be stories in the news how mobsters owned them. Also stories on how the women are exploited.

Stripper bars and gay bars would be great for laundering money. I know - I asked ACORN about it. ;-)

I know very little about gay bars - you have to ask Shep Smith. Like other successful bars they throw off lots of cash.

When I was on my a$$ financially, out of work, a house that was about to be foreclosed and a wife at NYU Law, I bar tended at a gay bar and was able to dig myself out of the hole and more.

A buddy of mine from high school who owns six bars, one of them a gay bar, says that the gay bar by far makes the most cash.

Those guys party like it is the end of the world every night of the week.
