What happened to the media's crush on President Obama? In the second 100 days of his administration, the majority of press coverage was bad, with the president's policy proposals receiving more criticism than praise from reporters.
According to a study by researchers at George Mason and Chapman universities, 59 percent of press coverage was positive during Obama's first 100 days in office, but then it dipped to 43 percent from May through mid-August. Especially tough on Obama was Fox News.
Researchers analyzed portions of "Special Report with Bret Baier" because it most resembled a network newscast and found that 25 percent of the show's coverage of the president was positive. That's actually a little higher than the 21 percent positive coverage Obama garnered from the Fox News Channel show during his first 100 days.

Media coverage? I’m not aware of any media coverage of this administration. I’m not sure that there even exists a “media” within the USA...
The MSM is simply disgusting.
Clearly a story to cover the state run media’s rear end. I be the information obtained for the story is pure bs. As the above poster stated it is pure racism for those against Obama’s policies.
What does that mean? They're no-longer falling all over themselves praising him every time he passes gas? They're no-longer fawning over him, scrambling to simply touch the hem of his robes? No more tingles?
Given how outrageously, mind-boggling, he-can-do-no-wrong, positive the MSM's so-called "coverage" of obama has been, "grows more negative" is meaningless. Let me know when one of the MSM outlets/networks does or says something negative enough to get themselves booted from the White House Press Room. Then I'll believe they're starting to get a dose of reality in their "reporting."
Anyone that sees obama for what he really is would not have much, if anything, positive to say about him. If obama knew what I really thought about him, he'd (try to) punch me in the mouth. If he didn't, that'd just prove he's the wimp in socialist clothing I believe him to be.
By October 1st Obama's poll numbers are going into the toilet.

I am with you. America thinks Marxism is the answer. Obama is the cure. We have no say this year, so we can just try to enjoy the ride. Next year all focus will be on Obama to keep his promises and fix things. Now he's the liberal messiah, but will be hung once elected by same fickle liberal press looking for blood.

Bullcrap. All of the media coverage of Obama is glowing except for Fox. He is still the Messiah to the rest of TV News and to the press.
Imagine what it would be like if the Monica Media actually reported negative stories about Boobama!
They told me I was crazy when I said the media would eventually have to attack Obama to some extent. They have to attack somebody and Republicans are out of power. Of course, the media coverage is still horribly biased, but at least BO is getting some criticism.
